Willie R. Marks and Annie M. Marks started Marks Funeral Home in 1948 at 810 South Jackson Street. It was the first African American Funeral Business in Magnolia, Arkansas. Totally family owned and operated, now with a third generation in management. In 1996 a new building was constructed at 1392 South Jackson Street.
This facility is easily accessible and has plenty of parking. The building is handicapped accessible, including a covered porch and carport. There is a modern, nondenominational chapel, the A.M. Marks Chapel' that seats over 225 people in seasonal comfort.

Our General Price List details the goods and services we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for basic service and overhead, if legal or other requirements mean you must buy any item you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
We offer a variety of service packages to choose from. The packages include a variety of caskets, hopefully making your selection less stressful. Package 1: $8,000.00 - Professional service, 18 gauge or 20 gauge Premium steel: colors: bronze, blue, white; a register book and acknowledgement cards. Package 2: $7.,000.00 - Professional service, 20 gauge Premium steel: colors: bronze, blue, pink and white; a register book and acknowledgement cards.
