Services
An oral examination is a visual inspection of the mouth, head, and neck, performed to detect abnormalities. Radiographs allow for a more complete examination, helping the doctor to detect cavities, problems in existing dental restorations, gum and bone recession or other abnormal conditions within the mouth, head and neck area.
Dental Associates of Lodi is located in Lodi NJ right on the south end of Bergen county bordering Garfield, Hackensack, South Hackensack, Hasbrouck Heights, Maywood, Rochelle Park, Saddle Brook, Wood-Ridge, Rutherford, East Rutherford and Paramus. Our office building shares it's parking lot with the ShopRite Center of Lodi and is accessible via all major roadways (Us-46, route 17 and I-80).
Our goal at Dental Associates of Lodi, is to create a positive change in your smile. We aim to maintain our patient's health, dental function, and appearance for their lifetime. We believe that esthetic dentistry must complement the overall general and oral health of the patient. Since 1997, Invisalign has been tagged as "the clear alternative to braces." Using a series of custom-made aligners, created from smooth, nearly invisible, clear plastic, Invisalign gently shifts your teeth into the desired position. Since there are no metal brackets or wires, you will not experience the cuts, scrapes, and pokes that are common with braces.
Although fillings can solve most cases of minor to moderate tooth decay or damage, they cannot save a tooth that is extensively damaged. In this case, a dental crown is a highly functional and aesthetic alternative. Dental crowns and veneer restoration preserves the remaining healthy portion of the tooth and root structure, keeping the bone and gum tissue strong and stabilizing the nearby teeth.

From start to finish the experience at Dental Associates of Lodi was amazing. Having to get several treatment procedures done including Invisalign and bonding the whole process was easy, streamlined and stress-free. Dr. Liao and staff made me feel so comfortable (as someone who is terrified of the dentist this is not an easy task). Dr. Liao treated me with kindness and was so informative the whole process, even answering my questions after hours. I will forever be grateful for the staff here for giving me a reason to smile wide once again!

Im very happy with my Invisalign results. Dr Liao did an amazing job ! The staff is kind and professional. Jay took care of all the details . Dental assistant Bianca is very sweet and helpful. Dr. Liao is polite and knowledgeable it seems, however, I took my Invisalign business elsewhere because I personally didn't like his staff.
From my last visited quote, I asked why the price went up and the staff said because of the pandemic.. really? is that a joke? but one of them mentioned they are busier than ever.
They don't even have hand sanitizers available after filling out their mandatory covid forms with the same pen that is clipped to the clipboard and I had to ask for a hand sanitizer. This made me think about my safety and compared to other medical offices, and for a dentist

My First visit was great very professional and kind. After my first visit they had me schedule an appointment 6 months in advance. I shrugged and said Okay picked a date and a time and put it in my calendar. A week before my appointment I get some emails, texts, and phone calls reminding me. I confirm that I will be there. The day comes for my check up and not only are they not open at the time I scheduled my appointment. They aren't even open that day and won't be open till next week. Office is clean, up to date, friendly staff, Dr. Liao was super informative. But, follow up is terrible, rather nonexistent and information seems to be scattered. If you aren't able to give them the time when they call, don't expect to get a hold of them until at least one month later. Many times I've called, left a message with the machine and with the person at front desk - I received no contact in return. I've had to chase them calling almost everyday and still, nothing until about a month later. I would really love to continue you working with them but the amount of time

1. First of all, I think it was very unprofessional for them to reschedule/ cancel my appointment without telling me. They called the day before to ask if I want to reschedule on my voicemail. I called them back right away and no one picked up so I left a voice mail because I had to go to work. I told them I do not wish to reschedule and to keep my appointment for 1:30 tomorrow afternoon. I called the next day to make sure I was still on for that time and they told me I was removed from the schedule. Apparently they do not listen to voice mails so don't bother leaving a message for them.

I absolutely love this place. I traveled all the way from Staten Island to Jersey to get my braces done here. The price was the best when I was searching and negotiating. The staff ladies are so down to earth, friendly and they all knew me by name, even Dr Liao meanwhile there was times he wouldn't see me for months because all I had to do was pick up my braces and leave. Dr. Liao made my smile perfect and got rid of all my insecurities!! The staff always would always work with my crazy work schedule and squeeze me in because I was only able to make it on Saturdays! I give "J" a two and Dr. Liao a 5. Everyone here is very friendly, the office is clean, and Dr. Liao is happy to answer all of your questions. I really appreciated his professionalism and patience as well as knowledge of invisalign.
The free consultation for invisalign was very informative and cemented my decision to get it. What's nice is that you canalso negotiate the price. However, make sure your keeping track of the math and the offers. When you speak to "J" she'll "throw in" teeth whitening for free, when most places don't even charge for that

Take it from a guy who has an irrational fear of dentists, this place is amazing! Everyone was very polite from the second I walked in the door. My room had a television and the lovely hygienist asked me if there was any channel I preferred. My x-rays and cleaning were both done flawlessly, and each step of the way was clearly explained. There was no pain whatsoever. Both the hygienist and Dr. Liao agreed on a treatment plan for me, and didn't make me feel like I was in immediate danger. First the office took me in on an emergency appt. They fully listened to my problem and situation and offered a quick solution. I told the doctor why i was there and my thoughts about dentist in general. He took the time to talk to me and calm my nerves. The visit was pleasant easy and quick. The doctor provided some additional information and answered the remaining questions that i had. I highlt recommend this office. Clean, professional and a nice staff.
