Virtus Medical Massage
I will use a variety of techniques to treat you including, trigger point therapy, segment reflex massage, lymphatic drainage, connective tissue massage, periostal massage. The techniques used depend upon the treatment plan. I begin all therapy with an assessment. Afterwards I will prepare a treatment plan specifically tailored to you and your situation.

The assessment is 30 minutes and includes discussing your issue in great detail and also time on the table in order to find all the information in order to prepare your treatment plan.

Steve has been a licensed massage therapist since 2014. He has been practicing medical massage therapy since early 2018. I have found the science of massage Institute and training under Dr. Ross Turchaninov, MD to be outstanding. My treatment plans are based in the best massage therapy methods backed up by science.
According to the American Migraine Foundation, Migraines affect 37 million Americans, costing more than 20 billion annually. From the medical massage point of view, we can separate headaches into three major categories: true migraines, headache as a result of somatic and visceral disorders and headache originating in the central nervous system.

The first person I’ve had in over 18 months of this injury to really take the time and extra effort to figure out what is actually going wrong beneath the surface instead of just going with the routine diagnosis. Definitely the best care I’ve received!

Steve is excellent. I had plantar facia that was getting worse and worse. Steve was able to help me walk again without pain after a few sessions. I then had a pulled Neck muscle that Steve was able to resolve in one session. And finally, I just had a tennis elbow issue that Steve resolved with massage and friction. Thankful for his skills!!

Steve is an exceptional medical massage therapist. He does extensive research and inquiries into understanding the reasons for your discomfort, pain, etc. and then develops an actionable plan for not only his therapeutic massages but your workouts at home. I have been to other medical massage therapists and Steve is definitely one of the best!

Went in yesterday for a weird pain in my elbow.
Received a comprehensive assessment and was asked to come back midday today for a 30 minute session on the elbow.
Threw my back out BAD last night.
Came in today for my elbow and warned Steve about the back.
He spent 30 minutes on the elbow and did another evaluation for the new back issue.
While he was evaluating my back, he was very gently assessing pain areas and my back/hip slipped right back where it is supposed to be.
Wow.
What a difference.
Thanks Steve!

PS, the music was great!
