Services
At Pet's Choice Veterinary Hospital we believe in offering choices. You can choose to participate in our Wellness Plan, and you can have a choice in your pet's care when an illness or injury occurs. We will always try to offer multiple options so that you, as the owner, are comfortable with your pet's care.
1. Vaccinations: It is important to vaccinate your pet. It is also important not to over vaccinate your pet. That is why we utilize the vaccination schedule recommended by the American Animal Hospital Association. 2. We encourage early spay/neutering for your dog's and cat's health as well as to help keep unwanted pets out of shelters.
MOST cats would benefit from some anti-anxiety medication prior to their veterinary visit. Hissing, shivering, freezing, and refusing to exit the crate are all signs of anxiety. Call 907-747-3788 if you would like to pick up a Calming Kit for Cats to reduce the stress of your cat's visit. The entire kit is $9.50.
Pets are known to lower stress and teach families lessons in responsibility, but pet ownership demands fiscal responsibility too. The costs of bringing an animal into your home goes far beyond any initial adoption fee, the first year of pet ownership can range from $1,000 to $1,800. The cost also depends on what type of animal you adopt and how large they will become.
Dr. Vosburg graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Prior to that, she received a degree in biology from Montana State University. When she moved here in 1993, Dr. Vosburg began working with bald eagles at the Alaska Raptor Center in addition to caring for dogs and cats in Sitka.

All we need is amoxicillin for our dog. She is a 9.5 year old Great Dane. Been raising them for over 20 years. She has a UTI. I have 1 pill left. The amoxicillin is working. Why would you let my dog suffer?? At least give me enough until I can get the urine sample you requested. Such BS. This is not the first time they have done this to us. They don’t care about the pet!! Just the money.now they just called and said to not bother bringing in a urine sample. They don’t want us to go there anymore. How can Burgess be such a great giving soul and be married to such a callous person? Pets choice
