If you're missing one or more teeth, you may notice a difference in chewing and speaking. Bridges can help restore your smile. Sometimes called a fixed partial denture, a bridge replaces missing teeth with artificial teeth and literally "bridges" the gap where one or more teeth used to be. Bridges can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials and are attached to surrounding teeth for support.
CEREC is a method of CAD/CAM dentistry for creating dental restorations. Using CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing), this process allows us to construct, produce, and insert individual ceramic restorations often in about an hour. The procedure involves a digital impression from one or more scans designing the restoration on the computer (computer-aided design, leading to a 3D model), and manufacturing the restoration.
