Rutland is the third largest city in Vermont and is surrounded by the town of Rutland, a separate municipality.
WEST RUTLAND, Located west of the larger Rutland City, West Rutland's origins revolve around the marble industry. This has created a rich cultural heritage, stemming from a time when the streets and quarries were filled with exotic voices of the immigrant laborers. We are tucked away in between the Taconic Mountain Range and the main range of the Green Mountains.
