Dry needling is a technique physical therapists use for the treatment of pain and movement impairments. The technique uses a "dry" needle, one without medication or injection, inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle. Other terms commonly used to describe dry needling, include trigger point dry needling, and intramuscular manual therapy.
Total Balance South Fargo is the best place ever for therapy. Then after my surgery I went back to my therapist Amber Richards who already knew how I was before surgery so she knew what to do. I started out 3 days aweek for awhile and then dropped to 2 days aweek. I can't say enough about how GREAT and what a awesome experience it was.

It's very quiet when I go, which I like. I am grateful I can go to any of the facilities now at any time of the day. I love the sauna in Moorhead!

I went into Total Balance sceptical as I had tried physical therapy before and had a bad experience. My pain never went away and they weren't clear about my treatment plan. Total Balance is totally different. At my assessment visit, I was taking max pain killers, still in pain, and pretty hopeless. Within 1 week under their care, my lower back pain was gone! My si joint pain is a little more stubborn, but it wasn't long before I wasn't taking pain meds anymore. Amber and James focused on identifying my weak areas needing strengthening, and they also helped with my sensitivity through hands on therapy

I can’t say enough good things about my personal training experience with trainer Amber. She is very personable and motivating. You can tell that she cares about her clients, meeting them where they’re at skill-wise and building up from that. I have knee weakness from a previous knee injury, and she helped me build back my stability first to allow me to appropriately strengthen my knees without reinjuring them. HIGHLY recommend her as a trainer, especially if you have previous injuries as she is has the physical therapy background.

This gym is too small and I found noisy at night. I don't find it safe because don't have anyone monitoring place. The front desk person doesn't greet customer at least I come almost every.day and she never greet me. She could be train on customer service. When I brought the music issue to them she act like it no big deal and show more empathy. The place is crowded not enough room to do physical exercise. There is not enough privacy.

This place makes you believe that humanity is not dead after all. The staff is fantastic and really does care about you. They are extremely professional and thorough with their diagnosis and treatment. This place blends physical therapy and conventional gym very seamlessly. With a full gym facility, they make it easy for one to get diagnosed, recover, improve and finally get into a healthier lifestyle.

Fitness 52 is my favorite gym ever! It is small but in a good way-it has the equipment you want or need, and always has equipment open. It is inviting and always very clean. The owner Trish is amazing. She always has a smile on her face, greets everybody, and knows everybody by name. The cost options are also great as you can choose to be in a contract or not. Love it here!

Love this gym! Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Very clean and I love that is has the small gym feel rather than a health club. And really great prices. Very happy to be a member

Great gym! A bit a ways from me as there are several gyms closer but I would (and do) gladly drive the little extra for these guys. Friendly staff? ✔️ Clean gym and equipment? ✔️ Nice selection of equipment? ✔️ A little sad that once we close on our house out of state I will have to find a new gym because they won't have one near us :(
