This course is specifically designed for the beginning shooter, to allow the opportunity to experiment with handguns under the supervision of knowledgeable instructors. This class will familiarize shooters with the capabilities of and liabilities for using a handgun for defense. This course offers experienced shooters the certification to necessary to supervise range operation, and is essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities.
The class textbook and the sample SOP will give you a solid reference for managing a shooting facility, including running a firing line, establishing range safety guidelines and operational procedures, and creating an effective Emergency Plan for any shooting event, activity, or competition.

The AllSafe Shooting Courses include Basic Handgun, Intermediate Handgun, Defensive Shotgun, and Urban Rifle. These courses focus on the defensive use of a firearm and encourage the necessary mindset to prevail in a lethal force confrontation. AllSafe also provides the course required by the Orange County Sheriff for CCW Permit Issuance and renewals.
Below is a brief overview of the various unique firearms training classes from AllSafe Defense Systems. Firearms are provided for most beginning level classes. Reloaded ammo is also available at discount prices. In addition to basic handgun marksmanship, this is a self-defense class that practices basic shooting skills while under stress.
Obviously not for beginners, the purpose of this class is to allow intermediate level shooters to practice important defensive skills that ranges normally will not allow. All participants will work out of a holster (concealed or not) and will not be hindered by limited rates of fire.
Each session will offer different skill-set training including low-light, strong-hand/support-hand defensive drills, shooting while moving, and many other important training opportunities.

Just finished up the NRA certified pistol instructor course with TJ. What a great experience. TJ is knowledgeable and he is willing to share his wealth of information. He is kind, smart and funny. I really enjoyed the class and learned a lot. He kept the class moving at a great pace. I can't wait to use the info that TJ taught me. Thanks for a great class.

Tj and his staff are very professional. They made me feel comfortable and confident while handling a firearm. I’m a beginner and this is my first time taking Firearms Instruction and Pistol training course. I enjoyed every part of the program. TJ carefully balances the number of instructors per students and I always had an instructor by my side. Definitely recommend the course and TJ’s wide range of expertise.

Professional course. Staff provides knowledge to all level shooters in safety, terminology, law and hands on. They provide a comfortable environment to ask questions and not rush approach to challenge each individual on their own level. We are fortunate to have made the relationship with its staff and look forward to advancing our skills with them with there diversified classes.

TJ and his staff are a great group. I would encourage all to take his class for gun safety, as well as CCW certificate qualify.He has truly mastered his craft, and passes his knowledge onto his students.Intense training will include getting challenged,physical and mentally. But you will learn how to conduct yourself with safety and protection as your goal. If you are looking at taking your CCW studies with TJ. I would highly recommend that you attend his 4 hour PRE-CCW course to prepare your for your training.

It's rare that I come across someone with as much experience and knowledge these days as TJ. His understanding and ability to convey both simple and complex concepts, with regards to efficient and effective firearms handling is outstanding. I took a course with TJ a few years ago, and its time to renew soon. I'll be coming back. His course was on par with some of the best combat/tactical pistol training I received in the Marine Corps if not better. He had novice and beginning shooters in the class and by the end they were shooting competently. He maintains the highest standards of safety while ensuring exposure to varying circumstances present in personal risk scenarios. I highly recommend him as a an instructor.
