I am your State farm Insurance Agent for the Arcata, CA area and have been a State Farm Agent since 2018. Prior to State Farm Agency, I owned an independent agency in Sacramento, CA for over 23 years. Since moving to Humboldt County 4 years ago, I have enjoyed being a member of the Arcata Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of the Rotary Club of Arcata, where I served as President 2019-2020.

State Farm employees were very helpful when had a car break in this year. Besides making me feel better they came up with solutions that were very practical. Getting things fixed and explaining everything my insurance covered. I have had State Farm ins. Since 1975. I was very grateful for the kind help.

I am so happy with the service I have always received from Jason Forster - State Farm. They have been able to tailor all my needs into one comprehensive package. My insurance package includes car, life, rent, and earthquake. The rate for this was amazing. They make sure I get just what I need without trying to bulk it up with things that really don’t suit me and my lifestyle perfectly. My family and I have been clients at this State Farm office for almost 40 years. And, while all of the agents have always been very kind and knowledgeable, Matthew Wallace truly goes above and beyond to be helpful. His patience, kindness, efficiency, and know-how put me at ease during a couple of stressful insurance situations recently, in an already stressful year. He quickly remedied the problems and answered my many questions with great care and understanding. Don't be intimidated by this Big Brand Insurance provider! This company and its agents are very friendly and mindful about the region in which they operate in. Being a College Student myself, I was able to have an in-person meeting with a representative who understood the circumstances in which local university students can relate to on a personal level. These agents do have your best interests in mind. Matthew Wallace was absolutely wonderful to talk to and learn from when it came to discussing policy options.

The greatest insurance agents I've ever had! not only do they care if I finally got a job, or who I'm letting stay in my house, or how close the nearest fire station is- they also care if my cats adapted well in our recent move, and if my date last Tuesday went well, and if I'm coming to visit the North Coast soon? they even text me back afterhours.
