I was born in Lansing MI, right in between Detroit and Grand Rapids. My experience at my office taught me how to provide proper protection for our customers, ranging from auto insurance, homeowner's insurance, renter's insurance, life insurance, and financial services. Before opening Alex Shattuck State Farm, I worked as a Team Member for State Farm for several years.
Prior to that, I attended college at Ferris State University. I am also a Marine Corps Veteran and served in Fallujah, Iraq from 2006-2007. I enjoy spending time outdoors in Mason, MI. In the summer, I take advantage of our beautiful Michigan weather with my wife, three daughters and son. I enjoy hunting in my spare time.

Every time I have to call the office they are incredibly patient and kind with my million questions. They always look for the best coverage and make sure im not over paying. Cory is super wonderful to work with and appreciate everything he does.

Zach has been great to work with. I appreciate the time he takes to detail questions I have and the turn around time when we're not certain at the time what the options available are with others they work with. He's also very prompt and courteous when I've called from day one, where I've never had an experience where he's not replied by the next business day. Glad to do business with him and the rest of the team.
