We were extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the hospital's ER service and crew between mid-December 2021 and early January 2022. In fact, our beloved dog, Rocky, passed away at the hospital after a series of three emergency visits. It all started on 12/15 when Rocky was diagnosed with diabetes. On 12/30, we brought him in again given his too high glucose levels, when the hospital's staff showed us two options: either get him hospitalized or put him down, due to his severe conditions. Then they offered us an option of a 48-hour hospitalization that would cost us almost USD 10

I normally believe if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it at all. However, in a world where mental health is quite an issue in humans, that taking the dog is a big part of equation for vets but not the whole picture. I brought my dog in at 12am December 20, 2021. I know my dog had a bad week of not taking his meds so he was showing signs of CHF . He has been in heart failure protocol for a year in half but he was a strong boy. I Just wanted them to treat him and give him a chance. Now I was basically in shock and felt paralyzed bc this was my baby. I felt I was

On a cold rainy night our cat had blood after he used the restroom. MLAH was equal distance to another animal hospital my gf used typically. However due to wait times, we chose to come to MLAH. When you walk in, you're taken back by how big the tree is in the middle of the lobby.
The friendly staff within minutes had someone to take our cat to the back to be examined. While we waited we saw at least a dozen or more pet owners come through the doors. They all experienced the same thing. A friendly greeting, followed by someone taking their pet to the back. The nurse tending to our cat called

Drove from Washington township to MLAH with my dog who was having trouble breathing. I walked into the "EMERGENCY" section and explained that my dog was having trouble breathing, hadn't ate or drank in 24 hours and threw up vile earlier that morning. The receptionist told me they were slammed and that she would call the back and see if they could see us. She hung up the phone and said no I'm sorry, but there's another hospital up the road. I took my distressed dog to the other hospital up the road. It turned out the dog was in heart failure, suffering tremendously, and

An update to my previous review. I was able to get my female cat spayed @ PAWS Greys Ferry a few days after my Mt. Laurel visit.... Here, she was pregnant. The incompetent staff @ Mt. Laurel told me she was bloated and most likely had worms, and encouraged me to buy a topical de-wormer. Seriously ??
Just a money grubbing place that shows little care for pets. I am also highly doubting the competency of your so-called vets. What an utter disgrace.

I brought my beloved kitty Puddin in for an exam because I noticed a tooth that looked painful. Dr. Haymaker examined him, went over his history and a plan for treatment, and scheduled us for a dental as soon as he could within his busy schedule. While performing the dental he found three more painful teeth that he was able to repair which I am so thankful for since my boy must be so much more comfortable now! I made some special requests for Puddin's care during his dental and Dr. Haymaker and his team made sure to accommodate my requests which made me feel even more at ease. My kitty was

My husband brought out panther chameleon there for an upper respiratory tract infection. He waited 6 hours for a phone consultation with an exotic vet. The gist was the lizard looked fine, but upper respiratory tract infections can be bad, so start antibiotics. The issue is that he wouldn't have driven 45 minutes in pouring rain if he'd been told the exotic vet wasn't in house. There's a vet hospital less than 5 min from our house that will do a similar phone consultation- he went to mount Laurel specifically for an exotic vet. After 7 hours he was told they couldn't do

I was forced to take my rabbit here as the other hospitals in the area stopped seeing rabbits. He was experiencing head tilt and another issue common in rabbits. I sent a video of his condition to his vet who was able to immediately diagnose him the next day (unfortunately this all occurred around a holiday). However, at the hospital, I was charged thousands of dollars for unnecessary tests. To make matters worse, we were forced to drive over an hour for a follow up visit where they concluded he wasn't getting better and told me he would die soon (luckily they were wrong). When I explained

Last Sunday, 10/17, we made the sad decision to put to sleep our 13-year old Toy Fox Terrier Sandy. She was having seizures and not doing well. We took her to the Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital.
We were placed in an examination room, and they took her in the back to put an IV Port in her leg so the doctor could give her the injection to put her to sleep. When they brought her back into us, the technician told us to spend as much time with Sandy to say our final good byes, and when we were ready, to push a button on the wall and the doctor would come in. We only waited 5-minutes because we did not want

Would like to speak to a vet here. Brought my dog in, he was fine supposedly, then he died suddenly overnight.
Called the office let them know that my dog had died, and asked to speak to or leave a message for the vet. Was told that the vet wouldn't be able to tell me anything. I explained I knew he wouldn't be able to tell me exactly what it was, but just wanted to find out what types of diseases or illnesses would cause sudden death in an otherwise young, healthy, German shepherd. I wasn't angry or anything - just curious, to find out what could possibly have happened to my dog

We have been bringing Winston here since he was about 8 weeks, he will be 3 in January. Yes it's been a bit more time consuming with the recent pandemic but the service has always been top notch. We have been here more times than I can remember, For many different occasions, and they have always done what is best for Winston. We have seen almost all the Veterinarians (I think), at least 5 different ones, and an orthopedic specialist at one point. He has stayed over night from emergency room visits at 2am. He has gotten xrays, blood tests, vaccines, ect. Yes, we have spent a small fortune here

I Really hate this place! I wish I could give them ZERO STARS! They told me I could bring in my puppy who had parvo. Had us there for 5 precious hours that could've been spent treating my puppy. They did nothing but tell me I need $7k in order for them to treat him and after I said I don't have that much money they still charged me $100 for basically doing nothing. If they weren't so greedy and actually wanted to save lives then my puppy could've had a chance. Instead they sent him home to die a slow & painful death. He passed away the next morning

We spent over $11,800 last year at MLAH when our dog had a bowel blockage. The initial estimate was $2,500 to $3,000. After multiple complications and almost a week's stay in their hospital, we were all pretty beaten up, physically, mentally and financially.
Fast forward to our dog's annual yearly appointment scheduled for yesterday at 1pm. After arriving on time and texting the office that we were in the parking lot, we received a text message saying if an attendent didn't come out to our car in 10 minutes, text again. By 1:36, I had texted 4 times. Finally I received a call

I have been using MLAH for more than 30 years and I've always received good vet care. Since the new ownership a few years ago I have been 100% pleased by the kind, caring vet treatment I have received for my greyhounds from Dr. Mankowski, and his vet team. Recently, he saved my dog and put in after hours personal calls, and a lot of follow up. The new facility is amazing state of the art, clean, and the after hours support is such a great emergency and after hour treatment option.
Remember that often people are more motivated to complain, and those who are pleased are less likely to

Wow, just got off the phone with a nasty person who shouldn't have a job answering for your emergency line. She was rude and condescending for no apparent reason.
First impressions matter. I'm new to the area and called this animal hospital first. I wont make that mistake again.
I'm sure you do have some compassionate employees there --- if you can make it past the warden answering the phone.

The owner flags bad reviews (check Yelp before you go) so I guess I'll try posting another. In summary, this place is awful. If you have a time sensitive emergency, don't bring your pet here because as the owner said they "can't meet our expectations" and are apparently understaffed.

The staff and doctors are great. Strong morals and ethically run practice. Discussed your pets health with the empathetic of being pet owner.
I Unfortunately went here after I wasted an hour at another emergency vet that told me to wait in car with dog that was having heart complications. Was told San additional 2 hour minimum wait. I rushed to Mt Laurel. They rushed my dog in immediately. Within 20 minutes my dog was evaluated, ultrasound, fluid removed for sample, given meds and a Doctor was on the phone with me to discuss plan for next step options

We waited 4 HOURS 😡 to wrap up my dogs leg for a cut, and to prescribe pain killers. After, paying the vet bill we still had to wait another full hour to get my dog back. While, we were waiting this poor lady was waiting just as long outside. When the two vet staff come out, with what looks like an animal wrapped in a blanket, they proceed to drop the poor animal on the ground and it rolled on the floor. We weren’t able to capture the pictures fast enough, but you can see them put the animal back in the bottom half of whats left of the cage. The poor lady waiting for her animal watched this

I had no other choice but to travel 40 minutes from my home due to all the vets in my area on limited staff in the middle of the night. Nice people. Covid makes everything impossible because you are separated from your pet and let me tell you this place is BUSY. The doctor had a great sense of humor that put me at ease and the woman that came out to my vehicle was very empathetic and sweet. I was kind of cranky because I was sitting in my vehicle for 5 hours, but I would highly recommend.
