Your child's first visits to the dentist set their feelings about oral healthcare for the rest of their life. That's why it's important your child have nothing but positive, fun experiences when they start dental care. At Cupertino Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Natalie Vander Kam, or Dr. Natalie" as she's known to our patients, and Dr. Mahnaz Gorgani, who likes to be called "Dr.

Services
Here at Cupertino Pediatric Dentistry, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentist's office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.
I love being a Pediatric Dentist! When I see a child gain self-confidence by having a great dental visit, or a child who is excited to come in for their checkup, it makes my heart smile. I truly love that I have a chance to educate both my patients and their parents about oral care and how to have a lifetime of healthy teeth.
Working with my young patients, being a positive influence in their formative years, and ensuring their early dental experiences are wonderful and why I love my work days. I educate my patients about their dental health and how to keep their mouth in great shape. The exchanges we have, and what I learn from each patient, makes for unique experiences, both technically and emotionally.
At Cupertino Pediatric Dentistry we strive to make your child's visit educational and enjoyable. We want your child to feel good about visiting the dentist and understand the importance of taking care of their teeth. Along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, we recommend that a child's first dental visit be scheduled by his/her 1st birthday.
Has your child ever begged you not to leave the dentist? Impossible you say? Not at our office. It could be our gentle touch and special way with kids. Our pediatric specialists and staff love children and are specially trained to put them at ease. We teach your children the proper way to take care of their teeth; but just as important, they learn that going to the dentist can be fun.

My experience at the Cupertino Pediatric Dentistry was amazing. We parked in one of the parking spots and called in to the office. In a short amount of time, they came to our car, took our temperatures and then we went in side. My hygienist was very kind. My X-ray was done in a short amount of time. My hygienist took me to my room then cleaned my teeth. Dr. Natalie then came to my chair and checked my teeth. She talked to me while checking my new permanent teeth. Dr. Natalie usually talks to me and make me laugh. At the end of the visit, Dr. Natalie gave me a token for a prize. The Cupertino Pediatric

Dr. Mahnaz and Dr. Natalie are the best! So kind and sweet with our kids. My two boys had to get fillings unfortunately but Dr. Mahnaz was so patient with them even when they were reaching up trying to take things out of their mouth while she was working! Then she called later that night to make sure they were feeling ok. Excellent, compassionate care.

All three of my kids have been here; they have not complained. The dentist is personable, efficient, and skilled (my youngest is six and the dentist had trouble with her--I had to ask the dentist to finish and we left early, it was nbd). Based on that skill, I feel that they have better minimized unnecessary procedures. So far, it had been good work the first time. My youngest daughter needed full sedation for two molars. She resisted the anesthesiologist and they had to hold the mask and it was too late to reset and explain to her the process, again nbd, her teeth are getting fixed, right. Hopefully

We arrived very early, 8:15 in the morning. I asked if we can do the only filling first so kid can eat lunch when anesthesia fades off early. The answer is no. Then my son did an X-ray. We did it last time one week ago. Why do we need to do it again? Anyway. Then we did the molar surface sealing. Until the third molar, I finally couldn't sit and watch. Dr. Gorgani and her assistance put two fingers in my son's mouth and pulled to two opposite directions. My son's mouth was stretched so hard and so big and he is struggling to cry. For a simple surface UV sealing procedure, she is having difficulty
