With humble beginnings and roots in Montgomery County, MD, GreenSweep has flourished into an award-winning leader in the local landscaping industry. An entrepreneur at heart, Kyle, age 7, launches GreenSweep, a tiny operation where he and his brother complete odd jobs and lawn mowing, walking with push mowers and rakes through the Woodside Park neighborhood of Silver Spring, MD.
Kyle purchases a used pickup truck and packs it with basic used equipment to more efficiently move between houses and expand services to more than one neighborhood. GreenSweep is incorporated and becomes a full-time operation, hiring its first permanent field employee to work alongside Kyle. Focus shifts to include both commercial and residential landscape maintenance work.

Kyle has more than 25 years of experience in the landscaping industry. Kyle has been the leader of GreenSweep since the company's modest beginnings when he and his brother were mowing lawns in their neighborhood. His knowledge of the industry has continued to develop through his years at the helm of GreenSweep where he's been able to make something bigger out of his childhood passion for landscaping.

GreenSweep is proud to be a member of the Washington, DC metro area community and enjoys giving back in several ways. GreenSweep is an annual partner of the Burtonsville Athletic Association, sponsoring youth baseball and softball teams. Since 2012, GreenSweep has been the official landscaping contractor for the Citi Open Tennis Tournament held at the Fitzgerald Tennis Center at Carter Barron Amphitheatre in Washington, DC.

We are extremely pleased with the way GreenSweep helped us transform our backyard. The advice we received and design consultation far exceeded any other company we used/approached in the past. Tree of life Health Clinic Parkinson's Disease Herbal mixture, 1 month into treatment she improved dramatically. At the end of the full treatment course, the disease is totally under control. Greensweep has been our chosen yard maintenance company since Jedd and Kyle first started cutting our lawn as teenagers. We were thrilled this year with the design and execution of a major landscape redesign with retaining wall and new planting in our back yard this year. They have also done some great remediations to control drainage, creating a swale and a French drain to help control downward water flow on our very steeply sloped property. I contacted green sweep to do a yard clean up and some basic landscaping to improve the curb appeal of my home as we prepare to sell it. Jedd was wonderful to work with! He was communicative, courteous, professional, and was able to work with my budget and tight timeline. The work that he and his team did in our yard exceeded my expectations! It looks fantastic. We couldn't be happier with the front and back yard overhaul that GreenSweep did for our house. The before and after pictures say it all! Jedd was incredibly easy to work with-- super prompt, friendly and knowledgeable in all our communications. The crew was amazing and efficient. What we expected to take a week was done in half the time! We can't recommend GreenSweep highly enough and are so grateful for our awesome new yard.

To piggy back with Sharam and Lupe comments, the reflection of an employee is also the reflection of the business itself. I don't usually leave comments unless they are warranted and the comment that this employee left was really the straw that broke the camels back. As a manager i understand the customers can get frustrated and is up to us (the employee) to try and win them back with customer service. All I can say is that I have been extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service.

We hired GreenSweep to do a general cleanup and mulching of our backyard and to do an overhaul of our small front yard at our DC row house. Because of a miscommunication, we were initially disappointed with the outcome, but after expressing this, the owner Kyle sent his team back out to redo the yard and it looks AMAZING. We are hugely happy with the finished product, and so pleased that this company stood behind their work. We are planning to tare up our entire driveway and backyard next summer and will keep GreenSweep in mind.

I had a spring clean up and maintenance and generally pleased with the service. Costs are reasonable and work is efficient. My only dissatisfaction would be with basic customer service. If you never need to contact Kyle, everything will work like clock work for the most part but any problems, questions or added service requests.....don't expect to get a call back within 48 hrs. Expect to call a few times to get a response.

I really, really wanted to have this company do awesome work as I really really liked Kyle's presentation, BUT, starting with his overall estimation, which was under estimated, and we ended up paying lots more for the stone, as it still was not what I wanted! Secondly, his crew needed to come back and redo the stone due to the shoddy workmanship. I finally had someone else, who I knew, but hesitated due to a one star review by one person, come back, and do lots more work, and withmuch better skill, at one third the cost! I will never have greensweep do work again, and will go with Tenley town
