Because on the most important day of your life. The glances you exchange. Should be captured by a professional. I am always being asked, 'Should I use a professional for my wedding? Or should I just have a friend take the pictures?' The best advice that AMD Photography can give is to have a professional there.

It's hard to read the other (generally scathing) reviews here because we had a good experience with her. She met with us to plan the details of our ceremony, and she was very kind. The one reason I am removing some stars is because we had asked her to act in a "wedding planner" role to help the vendors get everything prepared as we wanted in the day of the event. Unfortunately, she didn't make any effort to help in that sense.

So, while her wedding planner role wasn't notable, her officiant role was done well.

She did not show up.

The officient accepted our contract, then dropped off of contact completely. Phone calls and emails were not responded to. No follow up, nor did they attend the wedding they were supposed to perform. We had to hire an emergency officient from a completely separate company to have our wedding on time.

If 0 stars were possible, this review would have it.

Do Not Use this officiant. We were robbed of a $180 deposit. Not only that, we haven't heard from them since a month before our wedding in September.

Luckily for us our venue recommended someone who was available 4 days before our wedding day. themarriageman.com He was excellent and explained everything to us in great detail.

I set up my contract with Liberty Weddings and sent in my deposit back in February 2014 to officiate at my wedding on October 18, 2014. At the time, Anastasia, the owner, was very easy to get a hold of. A few months before my wedding, I tried several times to contact Anastasia. Finally after weeks of trying to get ahold of her, I received a phone call from Lisa Gray, the officiant Anastasia assigned to my wedding. In August, after chatting with her for a weeks discussing the details of my ceremony, Lisa emailed me to inform me she had left Liberty Weddings to start a new business. I never was contacted

We did get our full money back but not through Ms. Litz of Liberty Weddings: We went through the credit card company.

After posting my original review, Ms. Litz contacted us over email about it. The email threatened to smear our names on the internet, "report us" to our employers, offered to refund us $50 if we took the review down, and that if we did not take down the review: "risk your wedding day being more traumatic than intended to be..."

No professional, no business owner, no one truly in the wedding industry would threaten a customer or client like that, even over

BRIDES BEWARE! On the day of my wedding, Lisa, the head officiant for Liberty Weddings, DID NOT SHOW UP. In addition, neither she nor owner Stacy, made any attempt to notify us that Lisa was unable to officiate our wedding, even after Lisa confirmed less than a week prior with me via email. I called both Lisa and Stacy relentlessly minutes before our ceremony and neither one answered any phone call that I placed. Furthermore, no attempt was made to find a replacement officiant by Liberty Weddings.
We were later told that Lisa was unable to officiate due to an emergency on the day, however Stacy

Want to thank everyone for posting about this place. My daughter picked them for her wedding. She cashed the check and told my daughter her top officant would contact her, that was a month ago. Thankfully we have time to find some else. Theft of service is a crime. If you didn't get your money refunded call the police on her.

My best friend was getting married and I was looking around online for someone to act as both an officiant and coordinator. I really needed someone to help guide us through the big days preparation, since neither of us knew the first thing about organizing a wedding and all it entailed.

Luckily, I found Liberty Weddings and I used the same person as both the officiant and planner, making my life a lot easier.  They were easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly the day of the wedding.

Anastasia stayed at the wedding longer than necessary to organize

Even though a $150 deposit (half of the fee) had been paid and Lisa Gray, officiant from Liberty Weddings, had met with the couple, AND a confirming phone call was made one week prior, Lisa was a no show at my son's wedding last week. Neither she nor anyone from Liberty Weddings returned phone calls the day of the wedding. Phone calls placed to them in the days after the wedding have gone unanswered. I have since seen a number of negative reviews about this company on Yelp and Wedding Wire. Please note that the woman who gave this company a five star rating, Stacy Litz, in fact owns the company

This may come as a shock to anyone in PA whose wedding was officiated by Stacy Litz, but unless you got your license in Bucks County, PA, the chance is very good that your marriage is not valid. Litz was "ordained" by the Universal Life Church, an online organization that will "ordain" anyone for free: http://www.ulc.net/index.php?page=minister_data&id=23082

Google Universal Life Church+Pennsylvania marriage laws and you will find that ULC-officiated marriages are not considered valid anywhere in PA other than Bucks County. Here is more info: http://usatoday30.usatoday

WARNING! Do NOT use this service for your officiant. Your wedding day is too important to leave it in the hands of someone who obviously doesn't care about you. An officiant is the most necessary piece of your big day and if they don't show up, you can't get married!! You need to be able to trust the person who takes on this responsibility. My husband and I were looking for an inexpensive non-religious officiant and we found Stacy (with Liberty Weddings) on Thumbtack.com. We met with her and she seemed nice. A little disorganized, but we tried not to judge her on that. After hiring

WARNING Stacy DID NOT COME to our Wedding, and that after two weeks of not answering any email or returning phone calls.
When we met Stacy we thought she was reasonably professional. However after we sent the deposit and signed the contract, she magically disappeared! The day before the wedding we decided to find another person to marry us. Thankfully we were able to find another great one.
Stacy got back to us within minutes though when we emailed her to cancel and get refunded th morning of the wedding. Of course she refused and claimed that we were too demanded as an excuse for not responding

Save yourself the hassle. We booked Liberty Weddings prior to our wedding. SHE DID NOT SHOW UP ON OUR WEDDING DAY!!! She cashed our check! But Did not show up. Not even a phone call to let us know why or what happened. I tried calling numerous amounts of times the day of our wedding. She picked up once and as soon as I said my name she hung up on us. SHE IS UNRELIABLE!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
Please do not use this company!!!! Worst decision. Save yourself the stress on your wedding day!

We had a wonderful family wedding at our home in Chester County. Stacy was great, she gave us a lot of different options for ceremonies, and allowed us to customize one to meet our needs.

I would highly recommend Stacy, she helped make our day a special one!

If you are looking for a reliable officiant, look away and spare yourself the unnecessary stress.

I booked Stacy as an officiant months ahead of our wedding. Everything worked fine until our rehearsal date, which I had informed Stacy months ahead. Stacy confirmed a few days before the rehearsal that she will be there. However, on the rehearsal date, 12 people all showed up on time ready to iron out the kinks, Stacy was no where to be found. I called Stacy and she sounded surprised to get a call from me, but then she said she would be there in 5 minutes. Of course, 30 some minutes later, still
