My friend Claudia passed. We were in a hurry to find a funeral home to care for her, cremation and obituary. We worked with Jenny the next morning. She was very pleasant, kind and compassionate. O'Connell was very affordable for Claudia situation. I would recommend O'Connell Funeral home for service, professionalism and also affordability.

They are VERY rude!
They asked UNPROFESSIONAL questions DURING the funeral service, they were not helpful!
I asked for a thumb print, and she said “Ugh I don’t want to be APART IF THIS” then Hung up the phone.
They are not professional or nice. Very disappointed and felt disappointed with the service my family had to experience with them, 10/10 don’t recommend this place. We were very embarrassed at the service for the inappropriate questions a WORKER asked us.

The biggest problem we had in this time of Covid was that many family members and friends could not attend. Tim said not a problem we can stream and record the service. Jenny set this up and we thought everything was a good to go. After the service we were told that they had technical problems and nothing was recorded or streamed. If there was a problem why not say something, there were IT people attending and could have helped or at least recorded the service on our phones. When asked about this Jenny was very defensive and we were told that she has satisfied many customers. Probably true but

My mom’s funeral was yesterday. Because of COVID we advised many of her grandchildren and family members to stay safe at home. We did this because Tim told us it would be live streamed. Our church offered to do it for us but Tim said no we have this. Well they did not have it. They did not live stream it or even record it. Many people called Jenny when it did not appear. She told them it was being recorded to view later. This was not the truth. She recorded none of it. My son is very upset. He would have traveled had he known. He feels they stole any form of closure from him and many others

Our family was planning on our service being live-streamed due to Covid. They were unable to get the live stream running and didn't have enough storage to record right at the beginning. They didn't say anything to anyone until after the service. Had we known a family member would have just recorded it.
Even worse though was the attitude displayed in particular by Jenny. Mistakes happen, we all know and understand that, but instead of compassion she chose to be cold andnonchalant about it.
My father called today on behalf of my grandfather, who just lost his wife of 63 years, to discuss it. Jenny

When my dad passed away Tim and Jenny were extremely helpful, friendly, and compassionate. My mom is wheelchair bound, Tim came to her house to make the funeral arrangements. Tim and Jenny are wonderful people and make a difficult time so much easier. My mom and I still talk about how wonderful they were to work with. I literally cannot say enough good about Tim and Jenny.

When my sister passed unexpectedly 2 months ago, Tim and Jenny made planning the funeral easier for us. They are so compassionate and caring, I cant even put it in to words! They thought of things we couldn't to make Jody's service more then we expected.
My sisters wishes were never questioned.

Tim came to my moms house and helped us through every step. They were kind and transparent. The actual bill was less than quoted with no hidden costs. None. Mom is on a fixed income so this meant a lot to us! Highly recommend. Jenny was kind and responsive. They also did both funerals for my in-laws and I wouldn’t trust anyone else as much.

Tim, Jenny and now their daughter, Olivia, are so passionate about creating a service that is within the family's wishes. They consistently insure that all details are addressed and provide excellent support during and after the funeral service. I was very pleased with the way they handled my husband's funeral. They were very caring and sincere & made me feel like they would do anything to make this transition easy for me. It is a difficult time and you need someone you knows what you are going through and Tim & Jenny definitely care. I would recommend them to anyone.
