We are very proud of our program and it's track record. This is a proven curriculum that has been taught for over 37 years now. And over the past ten years we have a very impressive 89.75% first time pass rate for our graduates who have taken the MBLEX national exam. Matter of fact, in the past 2 years we are approaching a 100% success rate for our graduates.
Joe is Co-Owner of the Colorado Springs School of Massage and has been the owner and operator of his own massage therapy practice, Joe's Body Shop, since 1998. He enjoys and specializes in Deep Tissue Therapies and Medical Massage. His 20-year military career includes many positions in educating and directing training departments in several types of Air Force units.
Our full price includes: 6 months curriculum, all textbooks, manuals and worksheets, we enroll you as a member of ABMP which provides professional liability insurance while you are our student, enrollment in the ABMP Exam Coach and 5 minute muscles (both excellent training aides) and your initial issue of classroom supplies (i.e.

This school is amazing! The teachers are great, the vibe is awesome and the knowledge is vast. Students are supported in their journey and pushed (with love) outside their comfort zones. I love the self study portion of the A&P and the hands on labs are so valuable. The class size is small and perfect for plenty of 1:1 attention and guidance. I have no doubt I will be a well prepared professional upon graduation. I wouldn't choose to start this career with any other school! Thank you Joe!

I have really enjoyed my time as a student at CSSOM. Joe and Debbie are committed to the success of their students. The laid back atmosphere at the school creates a fun learning environment. I have been impressed with the way the staff works to help students succeed not only while they are in the program, also in their future careers. Perhaps what has surprised me most about the way they run the school is their encouragement for clients (if they desire) to follow a student after the student graduates. I am a current student and I can genuinely say that this school provides the best learning environment. It’s always a good day full of new information in class and the place is always full of good energy. Joe is an excellent teacher and you can tell he truly cares about his students and encourages asking questions at any time. He gives plenty of one on one time and is always checking the students when we are practicing and gives us plenty of good advice to better our massage. I recently tripped over my dog late one night after getting out of bed, which resulted in a pulled upper leg muscle. It definitely hurt!
The following day I was at the Colorado Springs School of Massage. I had made an appointment with one the school's soon-to-be graduating students. The student massage therapist was incredibly professional, and knew how to address the muscle I had injured. I immediately felt better following my appointment, and the next day even more so!
That experience convinced me the students enrolled there definitely receive high caliber training and instruction. I'm planning

I am almost three months into this program and I can already testify that this school has exceeded my expectations. The environment this school has is, in my opinion, the ideal environment when learning massage therapy. The classes are small so you feel at ease when learning something personal like massage. I also like how the program is set up for example, we do chair massages before we do full body massages, how for the bigger tests we get an extra week to study. Nothing feels rushed and Joe makes sure he prepares us well for anything.

As a graduate of this course and a member of this team I can honestly say you will not find a better school or group of professionals. This staff is dedicated to making you feel comfortable in the learning environment , and confident in the work place. The Curriculum in this course is another major advantage, you get a much more personalized in depth knowledge with practical application, which gives you a advantage over others pursuing this career. Although this course is not easy by any means, this group of individuals are always willing to help support you so that YOU can grow to your full potential

What a gem this school is !! I am from New York & we sometimes look to find fault and be suspicious. The school is small, it is located in a small strip mall and can be tricky to find. Do look carefully & be sure to find it! I was greeting warmly and made.to feet comfortable. I filled out my paperwork, was taken to a room to begin the process by my student therapist. The room was comfortable , clean and I was at ease. Cynthia was excellent. She was professional and made sure the pressure was comfortable for me. She explained what and why she was doing stretching movements. I have had many massages
