Introducing the individuals behind JPS Construction and Design who work together every day to ensure that our clients are satisfied. Owner and founder Jamie Stebenne is a licensed contractor in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He started working in the construction industry while studying architecture at Roger Williams University.
By the time he graduated with his Bachelor of Architecture in 2008, Jamie was co-owner of a full-fledged construction and design business. In 2012 he branched out on his own and established JPS Construction and Design. Jamie is very hands-on and still manages the majority of the construction projects at JPS.

JPS put an addition on, and pretty much rehabbed our entire 90 year old beach house. From planning stages to completion, we’ve been extremely happy and we absolutely love our new home. Jamie has assembled an amazing team – from Sue and her design team, to our project manager Julian and his team, we’ve been so impressed. Everyone listened, offered suggestions along the way, and worked with us to make sure they gave us what we wanted. We were afraid we’d lose the unique charm of the original house, and instead in the end, they enhanced it. The “old” is improved, and the “new” flows

We contacted the company to review our remodeling project. Kevin Sawyer made onsite visit after two weeks from when we reached out to the company. His initial period of being non responsive was per his statement an oversight. We then waited for his coming to our home. At the time of his visit, we were told 4 weeks to receive an estimate. We waited, but nothing. We contacted Kevin by email and were told 1 more week. Nothing arrived. We reached out again. Told 1 more week. Nothing! We never did receive an estimate, phone call or email response.
We moved on to a responsive company.
