Predeceased by his father, Allen D. Hawn and mother, Norah Hawn; and sister, Onnalee Gessin. Survived by his wife, Lois of 59 years; daughter, Suzanne and son-in-law, Barry Strauber and their daughter, Natalie; and his son, Douglas Hawn and daughter-in-law, Beth Anne Hawn and two sons, Aaron and Nathaniel; and his sister, Gail Galich of Daphne AL, as well a number of nieces and nephews.
Allen was the owner and operator of Hawn Heating and Air Conditioning, a local HVAC company founded by his father in 1931 and now managed by his son, Doug.

Hawn replaced my HVAC system in July and provided such good value and service that I had them replace my water heater. Again I received great service. They do wonderful work, respecting the space and being polite, friendly and professional. I recommend Hawn highly.

Nick did a great job checking and cleaning my nearly 30-year-old gas-fired furnace today. He even went outdoors to check the exhaust and intake pipes to find out why the furnace was operating less than optimally, and he told me exactly what is needed to correctly space these pipes. We talked about furnace sizing and what kind of furnaces he recommends in case I chose to replace mine, which is probably living on borrowed time. Very pleased with his capability and friendliness in explaining how the furnace is running and what he was checking. When I decide to get a new furnace, I'll check with Hawn
