We've been documenting love for nearly a decade. Everyone that you find in our images are all real people- just like you, in love and getting married. So hell yes to being real in front of the camera and liking how it looks. We're here to tell an honest story of your love and who you are. It's what we're all about.
Services
We are artists and enjoy making art in every sense. Making music, painting, designing and of course with our cameras (which we have been doing full time for the last 10 years). Being creative is what keeps us going and we bring all of that energy to our sessions + wedding days. Our life looks a little like this- we live in the little coastal town of Santa Cruz, CA about an hour south of San Francisco.
It's all about capturing the ugly crying of your best friend during your ceremony, those happy, puffy clouds that filled the sky over your reception and finding that beautiful light as we take some time during golden hour to capture all those big smiles after your ceremony! Our goal is to document this amazing moment in your life that you are creating with authenticity and love.
If you're interested in talking more with us about making art on your wedding day we'd love to hear from you. Connection is really important to us and this part helps us to know who you are so we appreciate all that you put into this! If you don't hear back from us within 48 hours please shoot us an email at info@sunandlifephotography.com and we will be in touch shortly!

Jeff and Dori were an absolute dream to work with. We did our engagement photos and our wedding day with them. They are so down to earth, and made my husband and I feel so comfortable and supported. Our wedding happened to land on an extremely hot day in September, and they helped keep us sane during some very warm photo ops. It was so easy to vibe with them and I honestly miss them. Our wedding was so damn fun, and they were able to capture all of our weird ideas and supply the moody yet beautiful feel we were looking for. I would without a doubt reccomend them as your photographer. Having a husband

My wife and I own a photo booth company and we've worked along side Sun & Life photography at a wedding. Jeff and Dori stand out amongst the crowd of other photographers. They're pleasant, friendly, easy-going, and very professional. The images they capture are beautiful. They're very talented and will go the extra mile the nail the perfect shot! We highly recommend them to anyone gettting married.

Is it weird to want to be BFFs with your wedding photographers? Not only are Jeff and Doriana exceptional photographers, they're also the kind of people you just want to hang out with. They are so cool and laid back, they make what can be an awkward process of having your photo taken so fun and easy.
They're super adventurous photographers and encouraged us to climb mountains (literally, not figuratively) during our first look and our engagement session. (BTW, I highly recommend the engagement shoot/guest book - you won't regret it). I was in heels both times...they're so open and fun that you

Jeff and Doriana were such a joy to work with! They recently photographed our wedding day in Santa Cruz, CA. When researching photographers we fell in love with their work- the way they play with light and capture natural moments is exquisite- after meeting them we knew they were our photographers! They are so cool and relaxed which helped put us at ease. We felt like these two were a part of our wedding, they find a way to blend in and work with the flow of the wedding rather than control it just to get a photo. Most of us aren't used to being in front of a camera but they guided us through the
