Dr. Khurana is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland and attended New York University's College of Dentistry for her specialty training. At NYU, Dr. Khurana supervised undergraduate dental students and provided treatment in complex cases involving patients with special needs.
Dr. Philip Vahab will tell you that he loves being an orthodontist. The best part of his job is utilizing the latest technology to give kids, teens, and adults gorgeous new smiles. Was referred to Sporting Smiles by my own dentist a few years ago, when my youngest son required some major dental work. He needed teeth pulling and a spacer. Dr. Khurana and her staff were amazing, and helped him with his extreme anxiety about the procedure. They were so good at putting him at ease, that he asked if he could switch his dental practice.
My middle son was also referred to Sporting Smiles for braces. Dr. Vahab, and the staff provided excellent care, over the course of two years, and we are super pleased with his straight teeth and dazzling smile.

So amazing! My daughter had an emergency after hitting her mouth on a window sill. Dr Khurana was super responsive throughout the day and as swelling went down it was deemed necessary to come into the office. My baby girl is only one year old and her tooth was barely hanging on but what an amazing team that made this so much easier! Even as I'm typing this the doctor reached out to ask if we're doing OK. I'm overwhelmed by their kindness. I highly recommend!!!

Came here for a second opinion initially for my daughter who was diagnosed with quite an aggressive treatment plan. The staff here is very friendly, professional, and thorough from the front desk to the clinical team. They are organized, clean, and I'm so happy we are now new patients with them. I feel that they are trustworthy and make well thought out, intelligent choices when it comes down to treatment, keeping the best interest of the child first!

Updating: I reached out to the office manager, Amber, today after reading the doctor's response to this review. Amber was absolutely lovely and very helpful. Apparently, the people that I spoke to last week were incorrect and Amber helped to get my daughter in to be seen next Wednesday. I was very impressed with the dentist taking the time to respond to my review and even more so with Amber's willingness to help remedy the situation. I'm feeling very optimistic about our appointment and will absolutely update our review to reflect our review experience when we go in next week.

I'm frustrated that my son did not receive proper care at Sporting Smiles, and because of their negligence, our son now needs extensive dental work. I'm mad that they labeled my child as uncooperative inpatient notes because he felt scared at times during his routine examinations. Because they profiled my son, THEY chose not to take x-rays without consulting me about the decision. I guess I do not get a say in my son's dental care. They placed their comfort over my son's health. THEY made decisions I should have been aware of as the PARENT.

Took my daughter for the first time. The staff is so friendly and we didn't wait long at all before we were seen.
The hygienist was sweet and explained exactly what she was doing.
I also love the decor. I was pleasantly surprised to see her name on the scoreboard in the room. So cute. It's a huge treat when after an appointment kids get to grab a toy from the machines. So unique.

Everyone here at Sporting Smiles are so nice and extremely informative! I brought my son in because he needed a procedure done on his mouth. Doctor Khurana was so helpful in helping me decide what should be done and was so patient and kind with my 1 1/2 year old. I already made an appointment for his post op and made sure to schedule an appointment for his regular cleaning to start being there as well! Would definitely recommend for your family.

We came in for consultation for my daughter's lingual frenulum. Not only did Dr. Khurana do a thorough exam and took time to answer my questions, but she was also so engaging and instantly made my daughter and me comfortable. She had spoken ahead of time with our speech therapist so she'd prepared. The staff was also very good. I highly recommend this practice if you're local or if you have a similar issue.

We took our infant for a consult with Dr. Natasha Khurana for a tongue tie. The entire office staff was incredibly kind. Appointments were scheduled a few weeks out, and the scheduler put us on a cancellation list. We ended up getting an earlier appointment. Dr. Khurana was very thorough and answered all of our questions. We ended up scheduling the procedure for a later date. The procedure was quick and we felt our little one got the best care possible. We were taught stretches to perform for several weeks. At the follow up, Dr. Khurana made sure our latch was good and had recommendations

We love this practice! The care that they give my children is top notch. They treat the kids with care and love and not as small adults. We don't have a favorite dentist we love them all. The assistants are fabulous and so kind. My kids are small so the little touches mean the world to them. When they clean the teeth they also paint there nails. I never worry when I'm at this office. I highly recommended them.

Awesome place for your kids' dental needs. The staff, both front desk and medical are super friendly and knowledgeable. My son had his first cavity filled and they walkes us through it. My son was nervous but came out not hating the dentist too much. The staff is so good with the little ones. They truly care and are genuine.

I hate to write this, because on the outside, everything about this office is great. The receptionists are very nice, everyone you talk on the phone with is great. The dentist who talked to us, Dr Felix, was very friendly and made my kids very happy to be there. The girl that cleaned my kids' teeth was so sweet and talkative. Like I said, from the outside, everything is great.

We had scheduled our first appointment here for when my child was about a year and a half. We called late one evening to move the appointment, expecting to just leave a message and try to get in, because we had an emergency visit. The call was answered by their answering service who scheduled us first thing in the morning the next day. The doctor we saw was absolutely amazing and gentle with our son. They only deal with kids and understand how scary these appointment can be for little ones. They do everything in their power to keep the kids comfortable, educate the parents on what is going on and

1. Yes, you called me during Christmas holiday when I was with my family. I did not call you back.
2.If you have oral surgery in a hospital available, Why Did You Not Tell Me??? I specifically asked it on the phone and when I came to your office I was told it is not offered.
3.I did not state that you were not good to families. I stated quite the opposite...except for my situation.
4. I did state your person brought out paper for me to sign instead of a wipeboard when I asked for it..
At first I gave 3 stars. A-OK. Is that really that bad people

New to the area and started bringing my 3 year old and 9 year old here. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist and orthodontist are extremely nice and knowledgeable and the kids now actually ask to go to the dentist.
We now come more frequently as my daughter needed orthodontic work and we can always get appointment times we need.
Highly recommend this office to anyone in the area!
