William Moore is a Roanoke native practicing comprehensive general dentistry. After graduating from the University of Virginia and the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, Dr. Moore and his wife, Megan, were thrilled to return to Roanoke. The practice is located at 6232 Peters Creek Road.
William Moore General Dentistry provides full, comprehensive dental services located in Roanoke, Virginia. We strive to care for your whole family, from children to adults! We provide preventative services such as exams, treatment planning, x-rays, and cleanings. Cavities are treated and appropriately restored; more extensively decayed teeth can be treated with root canals or extraction.
During my time in dental school, I participated in numerous Mission of Mercy ("MOM") Projects, including those in Roanoke. A Roanoke native and a proud graduate of Patrick Henry High School, Dr. Moore is thrilled to be back in the valley after receiving his Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive quality dental care in a friendly, patient-focused environment. By establishing trusting and respectful relationships, we enthusiastically educate our patients for a lifetime of dental health.
We participate with Delta Dental. Even if we don't participate with your insurance, we will gladly file your paperwork and bill you for the remaining balance. Please contact our office to discuss payment options. We will file your paperwork with your company on your behalf and always give you as accurate an estimation of benefits as possible before we start any treatment.

I have always dreaded going to any dentist appointment until I came to see Dr Moore. Since I was a child I have had horrible experiences. I have never felt so comfortable then I did at my first appointment . He was very calming and didn’t judge. I now look forward to my cleanings and any dental work. He is very reassuring and explains processes very through. All the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and overall very welcoming. Would def recommend !!!

Dr Moore and his staff are outstanding. Not only does he have a great personality, but he also does outstanding work. He has a wonderful chairside manner and my kids love him. He does not do unnecessary work, and is very honest when doing treatment plans. The office staff is very friendly. We are so glad that we found him. We recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist.

Dr Moore and his staff are very kind. They have taken great care of both me and my kids. I gave this review 3 stars because I never wait less than 30 minutes past the scheduled appt time for my kids or I to be called back. On many occasions it has been 45mins- 1hr. I know things happen, but not every single time. I watch patients come and go repeatedly for the other dentist in the office, before finally being called back. I stay with this office be cause my kids are so comfortable with Dr. Moore.

I had an amazing dental experience with Dr. William Moore General Density. The dental hygienists are very personable and very skilled. It's rare to find a dentist in Roanoke that will take the time to explain dental procedures in great depth. Dr. Moore did just that. He has a great bed-side manner and makes routine cleaning enjoyable.
