I would give this place a negative zero. The leadership in the Delray Medical Center are absolutely abusive people. They run the DMC, Emergency room like a dictatorship. I have never seen anyone treat their staff so poorly. They were intentionally and deliberately hurtful to many staff members and treated staff with immense inconsideration rudeness during the beginning of the pandemic and after. Absolutely an oppressive environment. I cant believe how these people in leadership are allowed to treat staff so poorly and not get called out on it. Terrible, just terrible and very disappointing.

My dept at the hospital I worked for was outsourced to Conifer in the summer of 2015. It seemed fine at first but gradually got worse and I was so distressed I found a new job last year. The department I was in was understaffed, overworked and constantly berated by management for not getting the job done even though most of lacked the means and training to do the job right in the first place. Management care more about the work than the people who do the work and don't seem to realize what the job entails.

I have been with this company a little over a year and have had a great experience. The company is going through a lot of changes but they are doing a good job of keeping people informed as much as they can. The training I received was excellent and my leaders have been very supportive. The dress code includes jeans and there is flexibility in working from home!

Unethical company! Beware of anything they ask you to sign. They hide an arbitration clause in what they simply title "acknowledgement" when they hand you the employee handbook. Always ask for copies of everything that they ask you to sign. Do not take their word on ANYTHING. Conifer was inconsistent and constantly failed to follow their own policy and procedures. BEWARE! Never question management or go to HR. They encourage retaliation, harassment and discrimination. HORRIBLE COMPANY ! please stay AAAWWAAY from CONIFER HEALTH . The Frisco TX where i used to work is probably the most unprofessional, disorganized corporate office that I have ever seen in my life. I got hired fast as a med. coder based on the 94% score on the initial test,...just to be terminated 2 months later based on another IQR test ( that nobody will talk about at hiring) where they expect 96% accuracy. I worked here a little over a year. Already seen 2 people get wrongfully terminated. They hire & fire very quickly. Training is almost non-existent. The people in leadership should NOT have their jobs. Too many cliques within organization. Revolving door policy is obvious. It depends on how much brown nosing you do to make things work on a daily basis. Lots of pass the buck type workers. The ones that actually work hard everyday are put in the meat grinder.

Finally after months of getting absolutely no where, the location in Florida resolved this matter. Would have definitely given this place a better rating had I been directed to the kind people over there in Florida at the beginning of this entire situation.
