Fernando started with DKD Associates, Inc. when he retired from the military in 1997. He is now the Broker/Owner of DKD Associates, Inc. Called in to inquire about some properties and a woman answered that was extremely rude. I was even shocked about how rude she was being when I was being polite and just asking a few questions. After reading a couple of other comments about the company I can see that rudeness seems to be a normal thing with this company. I recommend renting and working with someone else.

Called in to get information on the property listed online. I called the only number listed there and Mr. Fernando the owner of company was very rude. He claimed I called his personal number and request I called the office and gave me the number that I just dialed. I assured him that I am calling that number and maybe calls are being forwarded to his cell. He became angry and brushed me off that he doesn't know and that someone will call me back. The young lady who called me back was even worse. Rude and passive. I take what they present as who they are and wouldn't want to deal with people like

I highly recommend DKD Associates, my family and I rented a property through them for about 14 months. They were very well organized and the process to rent the house went very smoothly. They actually went beyond what I expected, my wife is not a US citizen so she has no credit but they still worked with us. We only needed to use them for one service call and they sent a plumber out to the property ASAP, the repairs were done the same day. When turning back over the property we forgot to do a couple things, they were nice enough to let us back into the property so no cleaning costs would come out

Was looking for a property management company for my house, DKD was very professional and quick to get my house rented out. They were able to get a relocated military family into my rental. I’m currently in a contract, approved by the lender and in the process of purchasing an investment property which I close on before the end of the month. So of course like any cautious person would be, I decided to shop around for property management.
I called this place just asking for information and immediately got told I would need to come in for an appointment. Not unusual, even though everyone else I called gave me information over the phone. We scheduled a meeting for 2 days later, since I do work and don’t have much available time to drive to their location just for some information

WARNING: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! I have been stationed at Ft Bliss for 5 years and have stayed all over el paso but this was the worst rental agency of them all, to include the greedy and rude owner Fernando who claims to have served in the military. Late work orders (2 weeks for a water leak), and just overall poor service. Dont trust him or his company, or you too will be writing a comment like such.

This company is terrible. We are a military family who rented from them for 3 years- we try to support veteran owned businesses but cannot recommend them to other families or homeowners. They are inconsistent in repairs - sometimes taking months to fix things. We had sprinklers that didn't work for months and the grass became ruined even though we were responsible for maintaining it. Their communication is the worst I've experienced. They have an emergency number but don't count on it being answered or messages responded to. You have to schedule your own maintenance requests which

Especially if you are military!!!When we moved in there was a ton of dog hair all over the carpet in the entire house! We had no furniture yet as we are military and so we had to sleep on the floor and I have 3 kiddos. We called these crooks and were told someone would call us back and a day later nothing. So my husband calls again and speaks to Yvette she finally sends someone to clean the carpets. Fast forward to a year later and it's time to move out, we have lived

As a homeowner, I had a horrible experience with DKD. They didn't care about my property. When tenants moved out, not only did they use the rent money I was supposed to receive, but they also used up the entire security deposit on costs that were well above and beyond what would be a normal charge, and the jobs were done horribly! They tried to rent out my place with lots of dirt and grime all over the place, and that's after I was charged a major cleaning fee. After I was charged a ton for "spot painting", there was still holes in walls, mismatched paint, it was horrible

I would say that my experience was awful, but seeing as how they are so bad I'd hardly call it an experience. I submitted an application a week ago, since then I have spoken to 3 different people in their office, all three said they would call me back and none of them did, I was also told they were going to call the owner and call me right back and never did. Absolutely unprofessional, and incompetent.

I use DKD to rent out one of my properties and I couldn't be happier with the service. They found a renter in a little over a month, and while waiting for a tenant they repainted the inside and repaired whatever needed fixing. They don't charge you for the work until they find you a renter, which is taken out of your rental income. Although repairs are rare, anytime they're done, they use reasonable contractors and it never breaks the bank.
Before using DKD my wife and I managed the property ourselves which was a constant headache. Now, my only dealings with the property are watching

Never have I EVER rented from such a horrible, unprofessional company! We have been moved out for a month now and still haven't received our deposit back. We were told "when we can we will get to it." Not to mention the worst year ever, we called them many time for several things that broke and they would say they'll send someone or talk to the landlords and then never hear back. Our fridge that came with the house broke one time while out of time, came back to all the food bad and bugs everywhere, called dkd and was told the fridge was a privilege and they couldn't do

NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY! They see military a mile away and have no problem taking advantage of us for all we are worth! MILITARY, RUN DONT WAlK FROM THIS BUSINESS! Completely unprofessional with infants in the office. As a mom I know how distracting kids can be, that's why I leave mine at daycare when I'm at work! Faucet, leaking ceiling or any other problem will never get fixed! Filthy dirty upon move in. Family run in a bad way.

I scheduled an appointment to view a home and I did show up 10 minutes late but when I got there, Fernando left an application in the door and left. I called the office and they told me to come back later that day if I wanted to see the home. All in all, he should have called if he wasn't willing to wait 10 minutes for a potential future customer instead of leaving.

Fernando, rude, uninformed and less than conscientious. Called DKD and Associates today to get a bit of information regarding the particulars of Property Management. It was 1:40p and the receptionist that answered said there was no one available to answer my call until this afternoon. I told her it was afternoon -when could I expect a call? She said around 4pm. My immediate question was if it was my tenant and they had an emergency what would she do? After leaving my number...no less than 30 seconds later Fernando called and told me that they did not want MY business. Hilarious! I had no intention

It's been over a month since we've moved out. During the final walk through, they stated that there were no issues and we were good. However, we have still not received our security deposit. We keep calling, and the person that handles the money is always "out of the office." We've called a handful of times and have stopped by the office. We are about ready to go to JAG and have them blacklisted if we don't get our money soon. Do not rent from this company.

Stay away. Owner targets military members by touting military experience and assurances of professional service--all lies. Worst business experience of my life. Not worth any more words. If you decide to go with this business because you think a military friendly business will take care of your property, then blame yourself when you realize that this business is only out for your money.

Save yourselves the trouble and stay away from this company at all costs. They don't take care of their properties and don't care that the roofs leak, the walls are falling apart, the fixtures, appliances are garbage. They are only in this business for the money. They will NOT take care of their customers. Trust me, take your money to ANY other company. You will save yourself a LOT of trouble and grief.
