The mother and son team opened the first salon in the Tampa Bay area to offer the Aveda experience. Elsa originally opened up One Mane Place Salon in South Pasadena in 1976. After substantial growth, she moved the salon to the Tyrone Mall area of St. Petersburg in 1994, where it operated until change of ownership in 2006.
At Rituals Aveda Salon in St. Petersburg, every service by our talented artists is conducted with the utmost care in accordance with Aveda's mission. Growing up in the hair industry, Jonathan Mosco started working in his family's business when he was 13. Now armed with a degree in Hospitality Administration and a cosmetology license, Jonathan's expertise and talents have grown. An accomplished stylist and owner of Rituals Aveda Salon, Elsa Mosco has dedicated herself to working with the Aveda brand and philosophy throughout her entire career.

Made the appt online and the process was very smooth. The salon was quiet and clean and only one other client.
I discussed with the stylist the length, and she said “shoulder length is different for different people so let’s figure out where it should be.” I was very optimistic, and even noted that sometimes hairdressers cut way too much and my hair doesn’t sit nicely short, it’s too wavy and looks like a mushroom. We agreed on the length, and by the 3rd click of the scissors I knew it was too short. She did too I think, and kept pulling the hair down as it sprang back up. The shortest
