My passion for being a newborn photographer stems from my personal journey through infertility, miscarriage, high risk pregnancy, and the near loss of my first born son at 22 weeks gestation. To finally get to that moment when you hold a newborn child in your arms is no small feat. It deserves to be documented beautifully.
Photographing children with special needs is also something close to my heart. It began with friends and family who had children with special needs. They found traditional photography studios upset their children because they did not set them up for success. I began learning ways to accommodate children with special needs so they could be photographed like any typically developing child.

Services
All portrait sessions include a pre-session consultation, a portrait session at the studio or a location of your choice, photo retouching, and an in-person ordering session. Session retainer fees do not include any digital images, prints, or products. Includes an in-person meeting before the session to allow the child to get to know me and to discuss any necessary accommodations.
A photography studio can be a scary place for a child with special needs. A busy and contrived atmosphere combined with large flashing lights can be overwhelming. This can make it impossible to get that yearly family portrait or the beautiful photos every parent wants of their children.
It is my goal to provide a photography experience that is relaxed, comfortable, and completely tailored to your child's needs so that you can have those desired photographs hanging in your home.When you book a session for your child with special needs with me, you can expect a very customized experience.

Where are you located? My studio is located at 3623 Freeman Rd. E, Edgewood, WA 98371. Newborn and most baby plan sessions will take place in the studio. Maternity and family sessions have the option to be photographed on location at your home or any public park within a 15 mile radius of my studio.
