My name is Dr. Josh Farmer & I am the owner of Maverick Chiropractic. I travel between the Forney and Wills Point locations to serve each community. I graduated from Parker Chiropractic College in 2009. I am proud of the exceptional Chiropractic education and training I have received. My primary focus is on wellness, and I aspire to help people achieve optimal health.
Chiropractors are best known for helping with back and neck pain. Modern medicine can offer temporary relief, but cannot fix the problem. At Maverick Chiropractic we are interested in the cause of the problem rather than masking the pain. Many of our patients come into our office due to back and neck pain, but end up seeing results in many different areas of the body in addition to the problem that originally brought them into our office.
Most people associate Chiropractic with back and neck pain, maybe headaches, scoliosis or even sciatica. Usually people will say something along the lines of, "I went to a Chiropractor when I threw my back out" or".twisted my neck funny." What most people do not realize is Chiropractic is a health care discipline, or modality, that provides much more than a drug free solution for back and neck pain.
On your first visit to Maverick Chiropractic expect to be greeted with a smile from one of our friendly Chiropractic Assistants. You will fill out your initial paperwork upon arrival, or to save time we encourage you to complete this beforehand. Please bring your completed paperwork to your first appointment.
Chiropractic care is recognized as one of the safest drug-free therapies for the treatment of neuro-musculokeletal problems. The risks associated with Chiropractic care are very small. After an adjustment it is normal for one to feel mild soreness, but this should fade within 24 hours. Many of our patients report immediate relief following an adjustment.
