Mrs. Malek is amazing! She has catered my own wedding and at least 10 of my friends' wedding/engagement parties afterwards. She is extremely professional and just a delight to work with. Her food is to die for, definitely my favorite Persian caterer in Bay Area. Her stuffed Salmon and lima bean dill rice are exceptional.

We booked Malek's catering for our wedding and I'm SO happy we did. She was wonderful to work with during the planning process and extremely responsive whenever we had a question. Not only was the food delicious on our wedding day, but it was beautifully presented. I got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing everything was.

I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Malek and her incredible team as a part of our wedding anniversary and I couldn't have been happier. The food was delicious and she was very generous with the portions. The two servers were fantastic in every way. Happy, respectful and very clean. They were the perfect addition to the party. They didn't stop working and left the area so clean which was such a peace of mind. I am so thankful of this entire service and that I did not have to stress an ounce over the food. There was just such an abundance of everything My guests were leaving with nonstop

Malek's Catering is the best. I had them for both my engagement party and wedding; Mrs. Malek and her team did an excellent job. She is not only very caring but also very talented. Our guests were so amazed with her delicious appetizers and food. Even after 2 months passed from our wedding, our guests have been still talking about our delicious foods. I feel so sorry and disappointed to recommend Malek's Catering to my friend for her daughter's baby shower.
Food was afoul, Stews (khorshts) were too runny . Lamb shank smells bad, chicken kabob was not cooked. Fish didn't taste fresh. All the guests which were exited to try Persian food ,ending up to dump it in garbage .

They catered my baby shower and I do have to say 5 stars for the servers only. That was the highlight of the whole service. 2 servers came at $200 each. They were amazing and attentive and I wish I could give more stars. The major problem was everything else. I spoke several times on the phone with the owner, Shahnaz, prior to the event. I told her my appetizers on several occasions: fruit platter, veggie dolme, mini sandwiches, kashk bademjoon (Persian eggplant dish). They completely forgot the fruit platter. When I asked her about this the next morning she states "I don't make mistakes

Mrs. Malek did the catering for our engagement party (and she has overseen the catering for a few other events of ours too), and her work is unparalleled. If you are in need of a Persian caterer for an event, she is hands down the best in the Bay Area. I recommend booking her in advance to make sure that she can make it, but she really does amazing work. In addition to having all the classic Iranian dishes, her speciality is the presentation because the food looks really amazing, as do the special touches with fruit platters etc. And, she is so sweet and great tow work with. Used Malek's Catering for Memorial service event. The Quality of the foods were not that good. It was quite noticeable that they did not provide enough appetizers (Green salad and Mast-o-khiar) for everyone!!!!. The servers did good job. However, We paid them separately.
Overall: Not recommending Malek's Catering for such events.

We have used Mrs. Malek catering on numerous occasions and she remains our very first choice. Simply said, she and her staff are amazing!, Mrs. Malek catering has always provided delicious quality dishes (including appetizers and main dishes) with exceptional high standard of service with very fair pricing.You can't go wrong.with Mrs. Malek catering and both my wife and I highly highly recommend her catering services.

Mrs. Malek is a great chef and manager. She catered for our Persian wedding in Palo Alto. The food and appetizer was very delicious, had great quality and was decorated beautifully. The waitresses were serving food, drinks and sweets throughout the night. They were all polite and did a great job.
Mrs. Malek also gave us recommendations for decorator and a baker for cake and other sweets which all turned out great.
And last but not least, she offered a good price for her wonderful services :)
