Heartland Veterinary Clinic
Heartland Veterinary Clinic is located in the oldest continually active veterinary clinic in McPherson County. It was purchased by Dr. Handlin from Dr. Scoby in 1992. The name was changed from Scoby's Veterinary Hospital to Heartland Veterinary Clinic. From its humble start, it has grown to include six full time employees and several part time general and skilled support staff.

The practice continues to evolve by keeping up with advanced point of care diagnostics and paperless patient charts. Email and text reminders along with conventional mail are used for communication. We now offer your pet's information on an app! Pet Pro Connect is a free app you can use to stay updated on vaccines, appointments, or chat with us through it.
Services
Veterinarian/Owner of Heartland Veterinary Clinic. I grew up on a family farm in the Kanopolis Lake area. My wife, Cathy, works for Milacron and we have two children, Mandi and Aaron. Aaron attends McPherson High School, he keeps us busy with junior rodeo, jackpots, hunting, fishing and working at Tiffany Cattle Company West.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer some much needed services for the McPherson community. We strive to put our motto, Modern Medicine with an Old Fashioned Heart, to the test daily. We hope that you feel as though your pet receives the best possible care during their time with us! Your pet's safety, health, and a quick recovery are our top priorities!
If you sign up for Pet Pro Connect in the app store, you'll be able to view your pet's previous medical history, add photos, message us during office hours, and keep updated on all your pet's information! Many of your prescriptions & trusted pet products are now being offered for home delivery. Ask us how to get you set up today through our online pharmacy!

Very rude and condensending. They care more about money than the wellbeing of your animal.

The rest of my family uses Heartland so when I got a new furbaby I decided to check them out. Everyone is so friendly. Even with the crazy restrictions in place, they made me feel welcome. My furbabies were well taken care of, and they didn't charge an arm and a leg. I am definitely staying with this clinic and recommend them highly.

I was referred to this vet by a friend. I needed a quick vaccine for my dog. Upon calling I was told that was no problem and could be seen the next day. The vet techs were friendly. Due to covid I was Not allowed in the lobby. After they brought my dog back they came and asked for payment. Upon receiving my receipt I saw a $25 exam fee. No one mentioned through the entire process there would be an exam fee. The vet himself came and talked to me and told me I should’ve assumed there would be. They don’t tell people there’s an exam fee because we should assume. He proceeded to tell me this
