He received a B.S. in General Studies majoring in journalism from West Texas A&M University and his J.D. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Linus Baker is completely unsuitable to be a lawyer. How he has not been disbarred is beyond me. He will agree to represent you, make no effort to understand your case or make sure you aren't filing a frivolous lawsuit, and then when push comes to shove, he will withdraw from your case and force you to pay him. He is completely incompetent and inept. I have never in my life witnessed a more shockingly disgusting and unethical "lawyer". He has had articles published about him in the Kansas City Star centered around how unethical he is. He needs to be disbarred for everyone's sake. Stay away from

Horrid, horrid man who barely knows his own name (truly, it’s spelled two different ways on his own website). A friend in Kansas sent me a link to a recording of an open meeting of which he was a participant, and both his conduct and incompetence was shocking. After shouting about the fact that nobody would let him into the Zoom meeting that he was very clearly already in, he insulted the hearing officer, repeatedly referred to federal IDEA law as “Kansas IDA,” and derailed the entire meeting into an argument regarding his child’s enrollment status. Linus is a wonderful lawyer. He's; fair and trustworthy... Was recommended through a friend of a friend, and I would recommend him to anyone. I know his scope of practice is pretty wide, he helped me specifically with some child custody issues, family law.
He's a straight forward guy, and says it how it is. Very experienced, yet down to earth. Likeable and a lawyer... who'd a thought??
