After graduating from Universidad Central del Este, Dominican Republic, with a degree in medicine, Dr. Diego completed a cardiology fellowship at the Episcopal Heart Institute, Medical College of Pennsylvania, and a cardiovascular fellowship at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia. Mrs. Diego-Montalvo co-founded Cardiology Healthcare of South Florida in 2007 to offer the sophisticated high-quality cardiovascular medical care that everyone deserves. She studied at Miami-Dade Community College Wolfson Campus and achieved an extensive amount of knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry.
Maikel Couto became a member of the Cardiology Healthcare of South Florida Team in December of 2015. He brings to our team 7 years of acute critical care experience working in areas such as ICU, CICU, Neuro-ICU, PACU. He has worked in many top rated local hospitals including: Baptist Hospital, Doctors Hospital, Aventura Hospital and Kendall Regional Hospital.
