Swicegood Funeral Home, Inc. has been privileged to serve a wide area of North Carolina and Virginia since 1842, years before the Civil War. Swicegood grew from the merger of Fox Funeral Home, founded by T.A. Fox, Jr. and Swicegood Funeral Home, founded by Dewey W. Swicegood. Since then, the institution has grown into one of the largest and best known establishments of its kind in the South.
A funeral service is a special time for family and friends to comfort one another, begin to find healing and celebrate a life well lived. Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a funeral service to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a traditional funeral or something completely unique.
She lived her entire life in Danville, Virginia and was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Hendricks is survived by her daughter, Virginia "Hope" Moser; grandchildren, Justin Moser (Mary) and Katie Moser. Our Mother's journey on earth is complete. Before her retirement, Mrs. Holley worked as a Nursing Assistant at the Danville Regional Medical Center and later as a Nanny to numerous children who lovingly called her Nana.
