There are many reasons agents obtain a third party valuation. As an M&A advisor, our expertise is in knowing the market value. We've negotiated with hundreds of buyers around the country, have been hired to evaluate agencies on behalf of buyers, and provided valuations to most lenders in the industry.
Our firm has regular email communication with over 6,000 agency buyers around the country, including the individuals in charge of M&A for the most active acquirers. We run a confidential, controlled auction to drive multiple offers in a short window of time.

In order to achieve this, we create a highly effective Confidential Information Memorandum ("CIM"), also known as a pitch book, that delivers in-depth information that buyers are looking for in an accurate and concise format. Each year, our firm is involved in over 30 agency sale transactions and evaluates more than 180 agencies nationwide.
It is a seller's market. Depending on a particular agency, buyer competition may come from licensed agents, other insurance agency owners, insurance companies, financial institutions, and regional or national brokerages. This makes it very challenging for a given buyer to find a suitable match. Option #2: Hire us to consult with you on a deal -Our due diligence expertise for retail P&C agencies is unmatched in the industry.
Knowledge - Most insurance agency owners have never sold an agency and are unaware of the process and potential pitfalls. We handle this process every day and have the experience and knowledge to guide everyone through to a successful completion. Confidentiality - Employee and client relationships can undergo considerable damage if the parties find out the business is for sale.
