Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Brandall graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in fine art. Her studies focused on photography, painting and drawing. After graduation, she worked in various artistic capacities before settling on life behind the lens. She has been photographing people, places and things for over two decades.
Brandall is also a licensed visual arts teacher. It is the greatest joy to be able to do something you truly love and make a living at it-not everyone can say that. Each time I pick up my camera, I am excited about what I see. Her work has been featured in publications across the South: Mississippi Magazine, Portico, Social South, The Bourbon Review, Atlanta magazine, Memphis Magazine just to name a few.
