Chiropractic is wonderful and is best known for achieving three main things: Increased Range of Motion, Decreased Pain, and Decreased Muscle Spasm. Most chiropractors know the basics of chiropractic and are wonderful. Here at Haak Chiropractic we go above and beyond the basics and we focus on the neurological and structural improvement of the spine.
There are several main signs we look for to determine the presence of a structural and/or neurologic problem. All patients receive full structural x-rays to determine the presence of damaged discs and degenerated vertebrae. Patients also receive a digital and computer aided posture analysis. This is performed to determine structural shifts and deviations.
Due to the exclusivity of our treatment, it is sometimes easier to explain what we do by informing you of what WE WILL NOT, and DO NOT DO. If you have been to a chiropractor in the past, then you probably have an idea of what most traditional chiropractors do. We are very different and for good reason.
Every Monday night Haak Chiropractic hosts "Intro to Haak Chiropractic". This complimentary class explains in greater detail the procedures, costs, programs, and goals of care at this office. All are welcome to attend and reservations aren't necessary (although recommended). If after the class you would like to proceed, you may schedule your exam at that time.
Many patients come to us as a last resort. They may have tried the pain meds and the muscle spasm meds and may not have received the results they needed. Many have tried physical therapy and spinal injections, and yes, many have even had spinal surgeries. Because we are different, we see many different types of cases.
