We recently purchased our home and the backyard was in bad shape, due to poor water drainage. Every landscaper I spoke with, suggested we dig up the yard and install costly French drains with drainage pipes leading out to the street. It would have costed a fortune to install and repair the yard. Ben had a completely different POV. Instead of digging up the backyard, he re-graded the yard and leveraged the natural elements to re-route the rain water away from the house.
