In the 1970s Ralph Dumoit and Jerry Standley were service technicians for AM Multigraphics and AB Dick, respectively. By chance, Ralph and Jerry happened to be next door neighbors. After years in the field, Ralph and Jerry knew they could provide better service for their customers if they could "run the show".
So, in 1981 they incorporated Litho Supply and Service in Houston, and went to work together. In 1982 Ralph and Jerry hired their first employee to be an account manager/service tech. By 1983 Litho Supply and Service became a new equipment dealer with its first product line of small duplicator printing presses.
