Spring To Autumn Family Counseling
Due to the current pandemic, Spring To Autumn is offering Telehealth sessions via video or phone. We are excited that some of our team will be returning to both offices in June. We are actively accepting new clients for Telehealth or phone sessions. Telehealth is easier to navigate than you may think and HIPAA complaint. Look to the Telehealth tab to learn more about this convenient service allowing you to do therapy from almost anywhere!
Services
Most sessions last between 45-50 minutes, though the therapy time frames differ for every client. Some issues can be resolved with a brief model of therapy within 10 sessions, while others require more extensive work. Within the first session, your therapist will discuss a recommended amount of time needed to address and resolve your specific needs.
Cognitive Behavioral- Therapeutic interventions are based on linking thoughts with feelings and behaviors. The goal is to replace dysfunctional and irrational thoughts with more helpful and rational ways of thinking. Family Systems- Therapy focuses not just on the individual client, but also their family system as a whole.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, I'll help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing. The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally.
Typical therapy sessions are 45 to 50 minutes long depending on the insurance plan. Your first session includes a detailed mental health assessment, treatment plan, explanation of services, expectations, and referral or resources as needed. We currently accept clients who choose: private pay, HMO insurance plans and PPO or out of network insurance plans.

I'm not sure about why there are so many negative reviews. We have had a good experience. My 7yo daughter comes weekly. She enjoys her time here and has made progress with gaining tools to help her with anxiety. The scheduling is a bit difficult in the beginning, but that's the case with most counseling businesses. Once we were on the schedule, we just schedule the following 3 weeks out after each appointment. The staff is friendly and on-top is making sure we get visits scheduled. We like her counselor too and the parent check-ins are helpful for me to know how things are going. We have

Poorly ran business! No communication whatsoever. They randomly charge you and never have appointments that work for children in school. For a mental health business they truly are only in it for money.

I have been holding out on writing a review to give the staff an opportunity to stand by their word. I reached out in April for family counseling and after numerous follow ups with staff we are still waiting for an appointment (4 months later). I've spoken to the Office Manager and provided my feedback. Kelly did get back to me right away however 4 months later we're still waiting. I've only waited this long because I do like the counselor I was assigned for my individual sessions.
If the staff is overwhelmed hire more employees. If the facility doesn't have the capacity, then Say so. If the staff

I had one okay session with one of the clinicians, but the admin staff don't seem to care at all. I called and emailed and after one session they dropped me and my wife claiming bogus reasons about insurance websites and then didn't follow through with the appointment scheduling. It's very disturbing and erodes all trust in their ability to provide help.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR ENERGY! This place doesn't deserve the one star but a star must be given to leave this review! I have tried for two weeks to schedule an appointment and each time I spoke with someone different with a new excuse as to why they couldn't schedule me an appointment. Today's excuse 6/8/21 was they couldn't access the patient portal through my insurance and that I had to call my insurance, fine easy enough so I called my insurance to learn, that wasn't tue and no they don't fax info info due to hippa privacy laws and that Spring to Autumn is

As a current employee with the agency, I give it 5 stars. The staff I work with are friendly and very team driven. Management is helpful and actually care. The Admins answering calls are kind and the therapists are seriously talented! Very proud to work here!

Dr. Stevens was okay. He seemed to listen most of the time and gave me some good advice on how to mature and deal with people. What I didn’t like was that he separated me and my fiancé and kept asking her if I had cheated repeatedly. Very nice staff and facility otherwise, I think we will try a different counselor for different perspectives.

Dont go here! They do not truly care about the safety and well being of people. It's just a money making business to them!

The unlicensed employees here are like going to a brain surgeon who flunked out of med school. My trust was misplaced. Anyplace is better that these fraudsters. Can you say money hungry scammers?

I am a fellow LMFT in private practice elsewhere, and want to publicly endorse Spring to Autumn. I have been a colleague of Clinical Director Martha Wethey, LMFT for 12 years and am fiercely confident that any therapist under her leadership and mentorship has been trained, supervised, and inspired by one of the best therapists anyone could hope to find. Bring yourself, your family, your relationships, your children to Spring to Autumn and I feel confident you will be on a thorough path to healing.

We love the staff and therapists here. It helps that they take our insurance (MHN) also. I love how they are always willing to work with us.
