If you own rental property you should know about it. Unfortunately, the State of Texas has no mechanism for communicating the code to people who own or manage rental property. If you own rent property and fail to comply with the code, you are at risk of being in violation of the law or losing a lawsuit with a tenant.
Have you ever given thought to selling real estate? Real estate sales can be a rewarding career both financially and psychologically. Selling real estate in a rural setting is significantly different from working the trade in a large metropolitan setting. In Cherokee County we don't specialize; we sell homes in town, rural homes, ranches, acreage, such as farm and timberland, and investment and commercial properties.

It is quite profound to see a business owner respond to a client by calling them names such as a psychopath (Google reviews). Have you ever seen any other reputable realtor do such a thing? This same company responded to a young lady on Facebook with pictures in an effort to tarnish her character as a response to her expressing her opinion about them. They have deleted these shenanigans, but wow! Once again, what reputable professional agency does such a thing? I have decided to speak out because you prove the negative reviews are valid with every immature response and demeaning retort that

If I could put zero stars I would. Mike McEwen is hands down the worst human being I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. It is astonishing how unprofessional he is and he never has your best interest but only his. The happiest day I had was when the deal for our house fell through and I was able to get rid of Mike and use someone else who was a million times better. Do yourself a favor and heed these words. Use another Realtor!

Paid my rent on time every month of my lease with the exception of one month in which case i was late by 4 days. (I paid my late fees along with my full month's rent) the last month of my lease, my husband's employer caused issues with our bank account resulting in the account to be temporarily locked. I was unable to pull money out of my account, even when standing inside the branch, for 2 weeks. I explained this to the realty company but they didnt care. They served me an eviction notice anyways. The house i was renting was falling apart as we were living in it and they didnt want to get stuff

Mike is horrible to deal with. We rented a building downtown from him and two weeks after we closed the buissness down he changed the locks with half our stuff inside even though we had payed on time including the month he changed the locks. We still had two moths left on the lease and we assured him that we would be honoring it. If he had of just let us know that he had another tenant for the building we would have been happy to move everything else out immediately and terminate the lease. Instead he rented the building out while we had already paid. Oh and he didn't prorate the rest of the month

This place is the most unprofessional place we have ever dealt with. Not even sure how many unannounced visit they done, claiming that they were taking photos of the roof!! Then to top it off the off went on the market and were only notified thru the selling agent! (NOT AFFILIATED WITH CHEROKEE) Not to mention the raised rent, which was already 1400.00 and the fact that he deposits checks anywhere from 5 -10 days after the 3rd. We never called them for anything, maybe once or twice the 2 years of living there. Never late on rent , and this is how we get treated. He then decides to tell us that
