At Eastern Virginia Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, our extraordinary dental team is composed of experienced professionals who strive to provide every individual who comes through our doors an unparalleled level of care. Our dental team has more than 250 years of combined experience and extensive training in some of the latest dental treatments.
Dr. Clay Weisberg grew up in Hampton Roads and attended Norfolk Academy. After high school, he moved to Providence, RI where he attended school and wrestled at Brown University. During his third year, Dr. Clay had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Jeff Weisberg was born and raised in Hampton Roads. He graduated from Norfolk Academy, University of Virginia and Tufts School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA. Dr. Jeff has been serving the Tidewater area for more than 40 years. His practice in Churchland draws patients from Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk and nearby Norfolk and Virginia Beach areas.
As a member of our dental team at Eastern Virginia Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Elsayed-Ali brings experience and expertise in anterior reconstructive dental work, conventional dental crowns, and removable dental work.
Dr. Elsayed-Ali performs numerous advanced procedures at our practice, and is particularly adept with restorative dentistry treatments that can enhance dental function, improve smile aesthetics, and renew the structure and health of the teeth.

Dr. Matt grew up in Yorktown before completing his biochemistry degree at Virginia Tech. While completing his undergraduate education, he found his passion for dentistry while spending summers working and shadowing at offices. He received his DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and continued his training by completing a General Practice Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Big shotouts to Dr. Matt, I had a tooth pulled today and he was very caring, asked me how I was doing and checked on me, he and the nurse at the time (Courtney) did their very utmost to make sure I was comfortable. He explains his procedures very well, he's a very good person and I can see his passion for his craft shine through. Supreme dentist I would recommend to anyone.

This was my first time visiting this location. Everyone in the office was very friendly and professional. The service that I've received was very pleasant and informative. Courtney did a very fantastic job cleaning my teeth. She went OVER AND BEYOND to ensure that all of my concerns was met. I have never been so excited leaving any other dentist office.

Dr Clay goes above and beyond! During the stress of how Covid may affect my small business, I began clinching my teeth at night when I slept. I fractured two teeth actually, and Dr Clay and his team have been instrumental in fixing me all up. I am very impressed of the treatment I received and the genuine care that I felt.

I've been a patient there for about 9 years now. Besides regular cleanings I've had about 8 old fillings replaced over the course of a few years. Had the last one done today. It was a 100% pain free experience. The medical and admin staff are always very friendly and professional. If you're new to the area and looking for a new dental office, look no further.

My family chose Eastern Virginia Family and Cosmetic Dentistry many years ago to serve our dental needs. We have never thought to explore elsewhere because we have always received high quality dental care from this establishment. The staff is skilled, knowledgeable, and very professional in every aspect. The front desk staff is always courteous, well organized, competent, and lends to a warm office atmosphere. All our experiences have been great with the doctors; especially Dr. Jeff. Excellent hygienist on staff however Morgan is outstanding.

Over priced. Too many appointments for work done. Had 2 extra appointments because molds for partial was lost. My husband went to another dentist for very similar work but twice as much as I had done. Paid 1/3 the cost (same insurance) and had 1/3 the appointments. Wish I had gone to his dentist. End results were good but went through too much time, pain, and money to get there. Do not trust their initial plan for you. They may add to it as you go.
