They are: School District Business Manager Consulting Services (SDBM), Tax Preparation and Advisory Services, Small Business Advisory and Consulting Services (SBAC), and Accounting and Controllership Services (ACS).
In our School District Business Manager Consulting Services Group, we provide a wide array of services. Albert B. Melone Company, at the very highest level, can function as your full time business manager. The firm has had much success with seven school districts in Luzerne County where we act in this capacity.
In our Accounting and Controllership Services Group, Albert B. Melone Company can step in and act as your full time Chief Financial Officer or Controller. In this capacity, we will oversee your day to day accounting operation, work with upper management and the Chief Executive Officer on strategic decision making, work with your banks and insurance companies, and perform all the other responsibilities of the Controller or CFO in your Company.
Albert B. Melone Jr. is a Certified Public Accountant and the Managing Partner of the firm. Mr. Melone has more than 37 years of public accounting experience. A graduate of King's College with a degree in Accounting, Mr. Melone began his career with Coopers and Lybrand in Philadelphia before returning to Northeast Pennsylvania in 1972.
