Dental Associates at Pitman was founded in 1952 by the late Dr. Ray L. James, as a solo practitioner. Requiring more space, Dr. James relocated Dental Associates at Pitman in 1968 to the Pitman Medical Arts Building, in which he was instrumental in designing and constructing. Along with growth, we are proud of our commitment to continue to offer high quality personalized care, maintaining Dr. James' ideals.
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. After missing your second appointment without notifying us 24 hours in advance, you may be charged an additional fee.

As part of your comprehensive checkup and cleaning, our staff will review radiographs, as well as instruct you on proper cleaning techniques and provides you with guidance on addressing other oral health risks such as diet or smoking.We recommend a routine dental checkup every six months for all of our patients.

There was a time in my adult life when I had some real anxiety about dental visits. The people at Pitman are great and I have very little stress surrounding my visits here. I've had a few hygienists here due to last-minute schedule changes, and every one has been friendly and gentle. Dr. Choi is my doctor of choice, but when she's not available I'… ve had no problems with the three others at this practice. All are friendly, down to earth, and gentle with their work.
Something else I appreciate here is I haven't been pushed into procedures I don't actually need. I have my bottom two wisdom
