This place did a great job with my gel manicure, professional and friendly!

If you're looking to get acrylic full set please do not come here. I got an acrylic full set 3 days ago at this nail salon. Three days ago and the acrylic is already chipping off. And when the guy was doing my nails he was rushing and didn't do a very good job.
The acrylic they use is very cheap and that's why the acrylic is coming off three days later. Some advice for you guys-maybe invest in better acrylic and take the time to pay attention to detail when doing your customers nails and maybe you'll get more customers

I went to get nails done for my homecoming dance and texted to make an appointment, the employee got back to me very soon and was kind. The work they did was beautiful and the nail tech was very nice. The prices were good and I left feeling satisfied with the work.

I love this place. Always come here even after I moved a little further from the area. Cathy is amazing and always takes her time when doing my nails. And Terry is amazing for a pedi. Highly recommended.

I switched from dip to liquid gel after Cathy recommended it to help harden my nails and I love it! There is no soaking off needed with liquid gel and it lasts just as long as dip. My nails always look great after leaving Serenity Nail Spa. Thank you!

The best place to go!! I have been coming to serenity for almost 2 years now. The staff is always welcoming and takes their time. Cathy and sonny are so kind and amazing! I can not recommend this place (& their dip manicures) enough. Safety precautions are always taken and prices are very reasonable. So grateful to have such a wonderful place in Downers Grove!

Terry did an excellent job! It's been about six months since my last pedicure before I gave birth and I needed a much needed mommy day so I came here to get my pedicure. There weren't that many people there and I enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. I had a great experience and am looking forward to coming back.

I always come to see Cathy and she is the best! She’s a perfectionist like myself and I really appreciate her attention to detail. I used to always get dip manicures and then she suggested doing liquid gel and I’m obsessed! It never chips or lifts (and I’m a hairstylist so that’s saying a lot). Highly recommend this place!

I live 5 minutes from this place and don't know why I haven't come back sooner. The service is fantastic and the quality is outstanding. I got a dip manicure and the Serenity Signature pedicure.

I got the same color for both. I was very surprised at how the colors looked exactly the same on my hands and my toes, even though I used dip powder on my hands and regular nail polish on my toes!

Very nice place. They removed the old gel set I had on, did my cuticles, and shaped and applied new gel polish for $40. Very nice people, good prices, and they shaped my nails very well. Highly recommend getting your nails done!

Being out on lockdown for months and not having the ability to do get your nails done is miserable. The fear of going back to a nails salon where it's a lot of contact and in a very close proximity is even worse...when I found this place was family owned I decided to make an appointment and pop in if I felt in the least bit uncomfortable upon entry I had every intention on leaving. Over the weekend I wanted to "pamper" myself but I am still a bit anxious about COVID, mostly that as a healthy person I could be an asymptomatic carrier. So... I called my favorite nail salon Serenity Nail Spa of Downers Grove and the manager Cathy, who is ALWAYS generous, kind and helpful assured me of the safety precautions that they were taking to ensure the wellbeing of their staff and clients. HORRIBLE! The nail tech ripped my nail off when removing my acrylic nails. He was not gentle at all. He did not apologize, or acknowledge that my nail was ripped and bleeding. Did a horrible job with the no chip that was put on afterwards, they look like they are a week old and grown out. Was rude to me when I did not have cash for tip, but did not have the option to add tip on my receipt. I will not be returning.

Hello, I came to the salon to get a fill-in. I saw Sonny and
he was very friendly. I was very impressed at first to see how quick he was. But as he was working on my nails he took many shortcuts. My nails feel like sand on top because they were not filed properly. He was very sloppy during polishing my nails and the nail polish was very diluted and you could see through the color.

Very disappointed. Made an appointment far enough in advance to ensure I would have 2 pedicures and a full set done. Was assured I had an appt. I walked in at 6 pm with my husband with three people working - no greeting and people sitting waiting.

Family-owned and operated, everyone I've interacted with at Serenity is very pleasant, as is the environment. The no-frills space is quiet and clean. The variety of colors available for no-chip and dip manicures is one of the largest I've seen.

Cathy does the best dip manicure I've had, and I've tried many places in search of one worthy of becoming a regular client to. For the quality of services, pricing is fair, if not better, than competitors, and I appreciate
