Dr. Douglas Nelson was born in Salmon, Idaho and was raised in Southern California. He made the decision to become a Chiropractor when he was eighteen years old after seeing the relief his Aunt received from Chiropractic help. Dr. Nelson has been providing care for patients since 1986. Dr. Nelson has two sons, Tyler & Ryan.

Soon after the discovery of the X-ray, chiropractors began using this tool in the examination and care of the spine. We call the body's adaptation process spinal decay. This process in the spine has similarities to tooth decay in that it shows up usually because of neglect. Also, just like tooth decay, it can happen to anyone, regardless of age.
Chiropractic care doesn't treat allergies. So, why do so many people with allergies mention that they get relief by receiving care in our office? There are many signs of an allergic reaction. Itchy eyes. Runny nose. Sneezing. Skin rash. More serious reactions can include constricted air passageways, vomiting and even death.

If you are in need of a massage this is your place. I came in to visit family started having back pain and had no idea where to go for a massage. I stubbled upon Mid county Chiropractics when googling massages near me. Kirston was amazing she listened to what my concerns were and executed a great massage that relived the pain I was having. I will be back when in town during the holidays.

Dr. Nelson is amazing! I am from Santa Barbara and I was visiting family in Groves when I got this terrible pinched nerve. Dr. Nelson took me in immediately and spent so much time with me to ensure my travels home would be comfortable. I appreciate that he listened to me and didnt rush our appt. I have been to many Chiros and he blew me away.

Outstanding care and results! Dr. Nelson came in on his personal time to take care of an immediate need with my back. He not only opened up his office and provided excellent chiropractic care, he also took the time to explain probable root-causes and gave me guidance on how to avoid contributing factors going forward. Mid County Chiropractic has the nicest office staff. Dr. Nelson is a phenomenal chiropractor. I have been going to a chiropractor since I was a child and dr. Nelson is the first chiropractor to figure out why I have suffered from migraine headaches for over 20 years and why my lower back has been bothering me on a daily basis. Have had more pain relief in the last 6 months than I ever had in the past. Dr. Nelson takes his time to get to know each one of his patients and how to best serve them. I consider him and his office staff as a part of my family. I would highly recommend Mid County chiropractor

Wow! Dr. Nelson and staff have completely changed my life, for the BEST. I went in on the recommendation of a friend, and I was skeptical, to say the least. I had lost the function of my right hand due to unknown reasons. After a brief examination and just a couple of adjustments, not only was my hand function coming back, but my headaches were decreasing and overall daily functioning had improved tremendously. I am now functioning at almost 100% in my right hand and my overall quality of life has improved tenfold. Without a doubt, the best decision I ever made was to choose Dr. Nelson's treatment
