I took my four year old daughter for her first dentist appointment today. She was a little nervous until Mrs.Kayla Varner came in to greet her. She talked to her until she was comfortable and showed her it wasn't scary. She explained step by step and went at her pace to keep her calm. Now she wants to go back every day for her to clean her teeth and see Mrs.Kayla again. Very clean and professional. The whole staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help. Will definitely be keeping them as our family dentist.

Superb staff and facilities! Cold called for an appointment, lucked into one the next day. Shortly thereafter received email for setting up an account and filling out paperwork online. Done in a snap! Was emailed/texted a reminder the next morning. Showed up 5 minutes early, seen within 15 minutes. Very personable and professional dental hygienist/assistant cleaned teeth and did X-rays. Sharp young dentist saw me, reviewed everything. Hygienist, together with receptionist took payment and set up treatment plan with cost options based on insurance scenarios. Set up follow up appointments, done!

I am very happy to give Dr. Bear and his associates five stars in spite of a minor mistake that both he and I made.
It had been several years since my last cleaning (in another state), and I was experiencing mild pain in my jaw, so I called their number on Friday (they were closed) and the next morning, I got a call inviting me to come in for x-rays, etc. at 11 a.m. I quickly did the paperwork and drove down to Santee.
Letting my teeth go was my fault, but I can honestly say that the tooth extraction was painless. I cringed more from getting the shots than from the pulls.
