We are not a Fast Food Restaurant; we are a Cafe reminiscent of a bygone era, where the quality of the food meant more to America than how fast it could be served. We believe in making food right: fresh, healthy, and homemade. We make many of our menu items from scratch, including soups, mashed potatoes, lasagna, spaghetti and alfredo sauce, meatloaf, pumpkin bread, cinnamon rolls and more.
We have a HUGE vegetarian selection, but plenty for the meat lovers as well. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day, everyday. Come check us out!

This is our new favorite place. I have been here 4 times now and can't get enough. All the soups have been fantastic and absolutely homemade. The rolls are great, the breakfast is amazing, the sandwiches are bomb, alfredo is salty from fresh parmesan cheese and absolutely perfect. Very cute place to have your favorite comfort foods.

Best dining experience I've had in a long time!!! No joke the best steak I have ever had!! Not only was the food amazing and super delicious but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The waitress was on point and got our kids full coloring books to keep them entertained. The only negative thing I could say is the no unauthorized parking all around their building. I almost didn't go because we were unsure if we were allowed to park there. I think they should change their sign to customers parking only or something along those lines.

I was a little worried when we walked in that it wouldn't be a good experience. Great example of judging a book by the cover. The waitress was nice and the food was really good! We got a stuffed pepper soup that tasted great. I got a breakfast bowl that was really good. Highly recommend trying this place if you're in town.

Such a great little diner. It still has that old school nostalgic feeling with the sit down diner bar complete with swivel seats and a bell for the cooks. The food was delicious as well! I'm normally not a huge fan of biscuits but this one was the perfect consistency and not dry in any way! I had the Eggs Oliver and my friend had the breakfast bowl. Let's just say they made the empty plate club. We will be going back for sure!

Disappointed in the food and service. The waitress was nice, but service was slow and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Food wasn't good (didn't taste fresh) and when I asked for it to be returned and taken off my bill, I don't think it was. I didn't get an itemized receipt and because I was in a hurry, didn't press the issue. Now my sister and I have sore throats. I won't eat there again.

I am partial to this place because I used to work there before Yelp came along, which was was about 20 years ago.
I have since moved out of town and whenever I come to visit stopping by this place is a must.
EVERYTHING is homemade down to the croutons.
The house salad is amazing. The rolls are extraordinary. The soups are all delicious. And the vegan options are bountiful.

I came here with my friend and we both fell in love it. She got the basic finger steaks and I had their special which was Chicken Alfredo that night. I love chicken Alfredo and I honestly didn't expect anything special. Alfredo is always the same right? Wrong!. It was probably the best Alfredo I have ever had!!! I definitely plan on coming back just for the Alfredo. The waitress was also incredibly friendly! We'll definitely be coming back.

My wife and family stopped in as this was where we went on our first date 26 years ago. It honestly looks the same which is really dated now. Typical greasy spoon. While I'm glad I dated my future wife here, I was not overly impressed and other than the nostalgia factor, I probably won't be back. Service was good and friendly and they even gave us a small gift when they found out our situation.

Stopped here driving from Yellowstone to SLC. Friendly staff and not far off the exit. I am vegetarian and we got the veggie chili over Idaho potatoes and the southwest Lentils. The lentils were a little bland but good with a little hot sauce. The chili was awesome until the end of the bowl which I realized there was a large piece of either chicken or tuna. It's always tough to have a good opinion of a meal when that happens but overall a good stop for a vegetarian in a land that vegetarian options are few and far between.

Amazing unique omelets here!
I stopped in for breakfast on a recomendation, and I was not dissapointed, this place is really good, food service, everything.
I got the NY omelet which is filled with corned beef hash, topped with swiss cheese and green onion. I always use ketchup with omelets, but this one didn't need, perfect as it came. The eggs nice and fluffy, hash grilled first, and the cheese icely melted on the top. The hash browns are optionally served with gravy (white sausage ), I had never heard of gravy with hash browns, but I have been converted!
I will definitely be back here

Pocatello will never be a foddie town but for what it's worth, the food at this place is good. The salmon salad was simple but delicious. The only criticism I have that the kitchen could check the filet for bones before serving it, there were several big ones in there which I discovered too late. Contrary to other people's review the service was great. Justin was very friendly and courteous and the food came in just the right time. Definitely going back if we are too lazy to cook and want a simple but enjoyable meal.

My wife is vegetarian so it is sometimes difficult to find a restaurant with good options for her to eat. That is not the case at Oliver's. She was so thrilled with all the vegetarian options that she had a hard time picking. The other carnivores in the group and I were not disappointed either. We ordered lentil bowl (vegetarian), baked salmon, veggie pasta, and ribs. Everyone enjoyed their dish and the servers were very friendly. It has an old diner atmosphere on one side and a more formal dining area on the other side. A little drive of the freeway, but sure worth the few extra minutes

I love chicken fried steak, so wherever I go, I always get it if it's on the menu. This chicken fried steak was the worst I think I've ever had. My wife, and both my parents said thier food was "Meh". Seemed like everyone who came into the restaurant were old friends, which is cute, but my goodness those cowboys were loud when they would come in and recognize a friend. People were standing everywhere, chatting about ranching. It felt more like social club. Totally fine, like I said, but they were all sooo loud. Combined with what tasted like microwave food, it was a 2 star experience

We ate here years ago and then had dinner last night and breakfast this morning. Like Dante describing where he was headed, something like abandon hope, the inscription on the glass by the front door asks you to abandon hope this is a fast foot restaurant.
The lentil rice bowl is a killer of great taste: I ask--in Pocky? Breakfast was the veggie scramble with hash browns. The latter were fabulous because there was no grease (see my review of Stepping Stones in PDX).
Here's the deal: you can go to a chain or you can go to a place like this. The service was what you would want in

My mother and I have eaten at Oliver's four times in three days. I'm in the process of moving and we wanted some good, basic food.
We are both vegetarian and found there were many, many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The potato bake was great, as was the potatoes with vegetarian chili. (Hey this is Idaho- we like potatoes!) the vegetarian chili is grand. :)
The only thing we were not 100% impressed with was the spaghetti and eggplant on the Senior menu- my mom said the eggplant tasted "off." Mom said it didn't taste very "homemade" like other things
