We are a married couple that fell in love with Seattle Newborn Photography, while photographing our own 2 crazy children, so we decided why not do it for others as well? Our passion is capturing these moments that go by much too fast in that 1st year of life - as Seattle Newborn Photographers we understand the necessity of freezing that moment in time so that your memories are brought to life whenever you glance at your photos.
It's beside the point that Jackie is a mother of 2 and is a natural with babies, but she has taken the last 4.5 years learning how to keep baby sleepy & calm for several hours of posing and photographing them in the cutest poses you see in Shih Photography's portfolio. Jackie has mentored with 2 of the best newborn photographers in the U.S. to become the Seattle Newborn Photographer she is today.
Shih photography is amazing! Doug and Jackie are so easy to work with, and they have so many ideas for the photos! They have shot my maternity, newborn and 1 year photos and we love all of them. Session fees cover the time and talent of photographer, planning and styling the portrait session, creativity and editing time. Session fee does not cover digital images or prints. All digital images are purchased separately and come with full printing rights. Family Newborn Session (Infants between 7-12 days old) - 3-4 hour session w/ 1 hour sibling &/or parent photos.
