From building our 2.5 car garage, replacing windows, building our front and back decks and stairs and redoing our bathroom, his work is excellent. He also has a crew of professionals who cannot be outdone.
Not only is Phil a great contractor, but he also became a good friend.
He is beyond honest, given the run of our home when we were away.
I wouldn't contact anyone else.
His costs are more then fair. And you could count on extras if he thinks they would further the project.
I'm hard pressed to give praise, but this outfit deserves it in spades.

Phil Aho Construction did an amazing roofing job on our older home in downtown Ironwood, Mich. His crew had to pull off three layers of old shingles and remove a chimney that was falling off. Phil kept us updated throughout the project and didn't drop any surprises on us. All in all a great experience. Highly recommended
