Services
Making a difference in someone's life begins with building a relationship with them. I enjoy asking my patients questions and really listening to their answers. Hearing about their experiences, goals, and dreams gives me a connection to each as a person and also helps me understand how best to address their dental needs.
Richard L. Vonnahme is a 2005 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Vonnahme grew up in Campbellsburg, Kentucky, then graduated high school from St. Xavier in Louisville. He received his Bachelor of Science from Murray State University in 2001. Dr. Vonnahme is married to the former Deanna D. Davenport and they have two daughters.
Dentistry provides a unique opportunity to build relationships with all ages and people from every walk of life. It's a blessing to see patients and their families grow and mature, to see their anxieties disappear while their oral health improves, and to build real relationships with those in my care.
At Taylor Family Dental, you will never feel like an anonymous number on a chart or a revenue source to be exploited, we promise! Instead, Dr. Randy K. Taylor, DMD, Dr. Richard L. Vonnahme, DMD, Dr. Anna M. Jayjock, DMD, and our team take time to get to know you and your family. We want to understand who you are, and by learning about your life and dental expectations, we are able to design care to your situation.

Taylor Family Dental always makes dental visits easy. Super clean and well organized for such a large office. All the hygenists are very professional and attentive. I appreciate the text reminders and emails to let me know when they have an opening due to a cancellation. Although Dr. V. is my go-to, I have seen all of the dentists in a pinch and no problems with any of them. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I went to see Dr. Vonnahme for a second opinion. When he came into the room he listened to my concerns, studied the xrays I brought, and then got one extra xray. He said I needed a cavity filled. The procedure was over in less than 20 minutes. Out of all the choices I have in Nashville, I chose to drive back to Murray to visit Taylor Dental. I will continue to drive back to Murray to visit this place!

This office is truly the best. I have had what seemed to be an endless amount of dental pain and Dr. V has truly been a saving grace. I highly recommend this office for any work, especially root canals or implants. They have great assistants as well who are knowledgeable and the office staff is very friendly. Thanks so much for continuing to make my dental health a priority!

Our family has enjoyed the process with Taylor Family Dental with every appointment so far. I had a question they had to look into and they were so prompt to get back to me.
They have a well oiled machine, with great systems set in place where they can take care of their patients well. All of the employees care and provide great customer service (very important to me).

I have had cleanings & multiple cavities filled over the last 2 years. I had not been to a dentist in almost 10 years before that. Dr. Randy Taylor and his staff are top notch in my book. I broke a tooth last week that he thought might have to have a root canal done on it. It did not he was able to repair it without the extra work. Advised me to go with a different type filling for the repair that should last longer and be a stronger repair.

Had a wonderful experience yesterday at Taylor Family Dental. Thanks to Amy my teeth were cleaned, xrays taken and no bleeding, no discomfort. I have had bad experiences in the past at other offices. I left this office feeling much better about my future dental health. Thanks again, Amy. You rock!! And thank you, Dr. Taylor, for your care and concern.
