Providing large and small animal veterinary services to the Walla Walla valley 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday and during emergency hours. Please see our Services Section for Emergency contact information. Our mission here at the clinic is to provide exceptional care to animals large and small, while educating their owners.

We believe with the right information and care we can help your pets live a longer, healthier life. Being a good pet parent takes time, patience and love; that's why we are here to advocate for your pet and help you make informed and educated decisions to promote the best quality of life. Animal Clinic of Walla Walla is a full-service veterinary hospital providing medical care, dentistry, and surgery for companion animals and livestock.
Services
Preventive care is the best medicine to keep your pets and livestock healthy. From kittens to cattle, our team's focus is wellness. Our individualized Comprehensive Wellness Exam is designed to evaluate the health of your dog, cat, or horse and formulate a plan for its unique needs. Our Herd Health Services for your livestock follow the same philosophy.
Thorough oral care can extend your pet's life for up to five years. Regular examinations, ultrasonic teeth cleaning, oral rinsing, tooth brushing, and diet are all part of our program to help maintain your dogs' and cats' oral health. Animal Clinic of Walla Walla offers complimentary dental examinations for dogs and cats during appointments.
From routine spays (ovariohysterectomy) and neuters (orchiectomy) to complex orthopedic surgeries, our doctors and staff are equipped to provide a broad range of surgical services for our small animal and lighter livestock patients. For all inquiries about spays and neuters we ask that you bring your pet in for an exam to make sure they are healthy enough to go under anesthesia before scheduling a surgery day.
Our in-house pharmacy is stocked with our veterinarians' favorite medications for maintaining your small and large animals' well being. Most prescriptions can be conveniently filled at the time of your appointment, and you'll leave the hospital with your medications in hand. For complex pharmaceutical needs, we work with local pharmacies and mail-order sources to provide quick, efficient service to you.
Our clinic offers emergency care during our regular business hours. In addition, our doctors participate in a local consortium, the Walla Walla Valley Emergency Service, to provide critical care for all animals after regular business hours until 9pm on weekdays Monday thru Thursday. If you are need of emergency services during business hours or after hours there will be an emergency fee.

I have a one year old sphynx cat, and a newly purchased sphynx kitten. Dr Carey and the staff have been amazing in assisting my husband and I in our elder cat, Delilah, as she got very sick with anemia at an… early age. There was a possibility it may have been lymphoma, but after working closely with Dr Carey and WSU it has been determined it is not lymphoma. :) We are grateful to have the same watchful eye on our Luna. I highly recommend Dr Carey and the staff here.

My experience with this veterinarian, Dr. Danielle Carey, and her staff are truly unprofessional. I made three attempts to talk to Dr. Carey about one of my recent kittens after it was seen two days ago. Without one test being performed on the kitten, Dr. Carey diagnosed the kitten with "possible bone disease" and said I was lying about the… kittens age. I have dated pictures from when the kitten was born and previous vet records for all the visits that chronicle her growth and development.
The "bone disease" was suggested because the kitten has some black/brown staining on it's front baby

I highly recommend the doctors here!! From equine to cat they have taken amazing care of my animals.
Dr.Carey and the staff first came to know me in a sad case of colic that resulted in my horse needing to be… euthanized. The compassion and comfort shown to me during and after was amazing. I completely trust the staff with all my fur babies.

Dr. Carey is fantastic!!! She removed masses from both of our dogs faces. We hardly notice any change in their physical appearance. She is a very caring and I am very pleased to have a veterinarian who takes so much pride in her work.

This is an amazing team of people!!! I would take my fur family to any of these docs without a single reservation. I hold a special place in my heart for Dr. Carrie as she truely understood the bond I had with my fierce n tender Callie Dr. Smith is amazing as he is so clear and concise and informative on what he shares. And you couldn’t ask for a more safe, grounded and loving person to be by your side when you say goodbye to a huge piece of your heart. That is an amazing gift. Thanks to you all. ox
