The origin of our firm traces back to 1966 when Terry Shuck founded Terry A. Shuck Structural Engineers. Utilizing years of experience Terry gained working for the Iowa Department of Transportation and structural engineering firms, he aimed to provide government, industry, and design firms with quality engineering services.
With one in four bridges either structurally deficient or functionally obsolete, today's bridge design and engineering specialists need a thorough understanding of all bridge types in order to overcome the infrastructure challenges we face. Through an open-minded, collaborative team approach, we work alongside our clients to understand their needs and goals.
